    long run: Barb
    More fun class: BM

barb is better in the long run, in my opinion, because barbs are more wanted. A BM can find his way into some squads (as a stunner, for example), but the majority of the time, a BM is an outsider. BMs are an all-rounded class, whereas Barbs are focused on tanking, so BMs dont have 1 specialty (they are more flexible, for example, they can choose 4-5 different weapons, whereas barbs can pretty much only use dual axes). If you want to have more fun/lvl faster/make more money, go BM. If you want to be "wanted", lvl slower, have a better endgame, go barb. All of this is assuming that you will be a decent player, and WILL NOT **** UP YOUR STATS/BUILD!!!! (Hint: Read beginner guides of whichever class you are going to choose).

EDIT: Oh...this is assuming you aren't going a PVP build. In which case, BM will be a better choice, to be more specific, go Archer if you are looking to pvp a lot. (You can go mage too, but if will take a while for them to be good enough to pk efficiently).

As stated above, barbarian is the better choice in the long run, but you'd have to be really devoted to getting there. I mean, really devoted. Most barbarians quit the game before the "long run" part of the game because of the increasing expenses in hierograms, potions, armor repairs, etc. And the more level they gain the more HP they gain (expecting you're following the regular barbarian tank build), the more the bill increases. Then again, if this was about money, I'd suggest making a venomancer.

If you're not sure about dealing with the large expenses it costs to play a barbarian, blademaster is a good choice. Blademasters' primary role in most parties is to DPS, so you wouldn't expect to spend too much on hierograms, potions, or armor repairs.

Basically, if you can handle the expenses, make a barbarian. If it's a bit tough, blademaster (or typically, a venomancer) might be a better choice.

    Wait, hang on a sec.
"Go bm, or to be more specific, an archer".
How the hell does that work? That doesn't even make sense ><.

maybe he means a BM with a bow? That'd be a horrible idea though, don't do that.
I figured I should do something with my sig, so I made this for fun. My very first (poorly made) animation. b:victory

"BM, or to be more specific, an archer" was meant in the context of PVP. Archers are the best class at PVP, generally.

EDIT: And, if you are talking about the way it is ordered in the sentence, it is grammatically correct.
