So does PW favor untamed or what?

I may be wrong, but everything about pw seems to me to be centered around untamed.
They have the most promotional art, every winner of the calendar contest had an untamed in it.
barbarians are basically the best at pvp, Venos Are like amazing.
idk i may be wrong but it seems to me that the untamed are perfect worlds favorite race

    Dont know which Game you play, but in my PWI Barbs are the slowest leveler. Making small damages, only plus is the huge amount of HP.

    i never really noticed. my brother was a barb and he started after i was lvl 30 and caught up to me really fast. dueling a barb = lose

    The Killspeed of a Barb will never be so high as from a Mage/Archer/Veno. So is not possible to level faster than them b:sad

    nope and we pretty much utterly fail at fighting casters,77 now and when i was like 73 i lost half my hp fighting a 43 veno...only time i win duels is against other barbs who are idiots or lower lvl bm's

    idiot barb as in ones who think tanking in human form is a good idea i.e. me before a wiz and cleric yelled at me for not holding aggro...kitty form ftw

    This whole barbs kill slower than everyone else is BS. You don't take damage, and you don't need mana, therefor you never have to meditate, so it equals out. I have to meditate after every 4-5 kills, and that takes like 2 minutes to regen to full mana. Also, the cube is pretty much a free win for barbs, so that's a huge XP bonus.

    HAHAHAHA u think we dont need mana? ur a freaking riot dude...u realise what it takes to do our buffs? lvl 10 inspiration is about 365mana....STOT is about 325 without looking...i have a max mana of about 1100....so that leaves me with about 450 mana...flesh ream lvl 10 (goes to look quick) is 43 mana alacrity is 64 surf impact is 88.5 sunder which i havent upgraded since lvl 5 is 142 my max mana since i looked is 1127 and i got elemental resistences from 777(earth) to 1977(metal and water) and in cat form i lose 50% of my atk plus i only got 414 accuracy so i can barely hit the broadside of a jumbo jet...

    so dont give me this **** bout barbs killing slower...fastest weapon atk we get .91 but i like the damage so i run axes which are .83 so u run ur buffs and a full bar of skills and tell me how much mana u got left...

    just check my buffs and lvl 10 inspiration is 320 mana and SOT is 365 at lvl 7

    your in the negative... Its the same w/ other classes too tho... I'm a cleric and a full set of buff costs me around 1/3 of my mana...(I have around 4k mana, can't remember exactly) and thats buffs alone... It all balances out between the classes tho... A few are left behind in some areas but are better in others... I have to use a mana potion for every mob I kill... I used 70 on one quest last night...lol I gave up on accepting duels from barbs cuz I fail horribly...lol I personally like barbs... So there is no reason to hate on them cuz they MIGHT be in drawings and stuff more... They've saved my skin many of times...hahaha

    As far as im concerned this game is extremely balanced. Mage cant take hits, but they do INSANE dmg. Barbs cant do dmg (till like endgame) but can take INSANE dmg.

    fair trade imo.

    barbs really do kill slower. a cleric or veno would do 2-4 hits while i gota swing at it 9 times or so before i managed to kill it. as for the reason you got caught up, well its easier to level at lower levels while at higher levels it'll take a longer time.

    Best PvP class? You kidding? If you're talking about dueling, some classes do have the advantage, but I'd have to put that at clerics. When it comes to TW, you better have EVERY class because each brings a valuable contribution to your capabilities. Aaand if you're talking about PK....I wouldn't pick barb as my first choice. As an archer I find it a waste of mana to try to PK a barb in tiger form w/ an HP charm, that is true, but the the barbs have a hell of a time reaching the squishies nuking them from 25+ meters away and probably do silly amount of damage to classes they get close to easily (heavy armor? all physical attacks?). The point is, every class has advantages and disadvantages. However, you are half correct in that the game seems to favor venos (heck there are boutique pets for them! Where's my boutique bow? :P). There doesn't need to be another thread to debate that one.

    ya i agree...i can take wicked physical damage but put me enxt to a caster and im screwed lol and ive dueled my cleric friend before who is also 77 and a full heal cleric so shes jsut starting on her atk side and hse can whoop me in about 6 shots unless i can get off a sunder and pray it heals me enough lol

    I've played both barb and wizard. Both have perks. Barbs can be easily killed by wizards in duels if the wizard knows what he is doing. If the barb has a heiro it's a slightly different story but still not impossible.

    I agree that barbs probably have the lowest damage in the game so it takes them longer to kill monsters, they make up for this in their survivability.

    Wizards and archers do the highest damage in the game but ever try taking more than 5 hits on a wizard and living.

    Barbs need plenty of mana. They keep aggro off of you from skills definately not damage. You have to meditate after 4-5 kills?!? You should at least be able to spam spells for 10-15 minutes even without a charm and unlike other classes it only takes us 2 minutes to regain that 8-10k mp.

    lol ya i got a 26 wiz and he can do about 20 spells ebfore hes even half mp and ya with only 5 in magic on my barb regening 1k mp is about a 10min rest

    and i know our 77 mage did all of his lvl 77 quest by himself without a hp charm...so if u arent hitting very hard as a mage then ya might want to look into a reset scroll for ur attributes...

    Try getting barb to 70 and getting XS or 90 and getting GX then see how "bad" their damage is. No class should be able to kill a barb 1v1 unless that barb fails horribly at their class. And all a barb has to do is sit their and wait for a zerk/crit or pop a perdition when we are at half hp and its bye bye 4/6 classes in the game.

    And we wont even talk about venos...........

    barb sux when trying to kill an Archer. archer will run faster and cast metal skills which makes no difference if ur in tiger mode.. i can 5 shot my level barbs >> without spark srsly.. Barbs are for tanking not for PvP and pk unless u taking on lowbies >> Barbs are for tanking

    My friend leveled faster than me with barb when he was 10 levels weaker than me but its not cuz Barb level faster.. its just cuz he played 6-13h a day >> and did only grind
