Leveling up: What's it get me?

Leveling up is boring at this level.
Really boring.
Spoon my eyes out with a... Well, spoon, boring.
My point being I don't want to do it.
What does being high level in this game get me? As an Archer, I can already fly. I already have nice looking armor. I seriously can't think of anything other than Territory Wars I get from levelling, and that's a long, long ways away... Is it even worth it? Should I bother? I hate leveling so much that the only reason I keep doing it is because I have nothing better to do.

Simply put; What do high levels get that I don't?

EDIT: If there's an enticing reason to keep the grind up, than feel free to give me some form of guide for how to level up beyond where I am now anywhere but the Dreaming Stronghold... God that place is boring.

Online games involve a lot of grinding. Period. If you don't grind, you can't get too many new quests, which is kinda what the game's all about. I mean, you can level through quests for a while, but you have to add grinding soon. What lvl are you? It only gets worse as far as grinding goes, so you might wanna ask yourself what you're getting out of playing.

Dreaming Stronghold, something tells me you are not even level 20 yet. There are dungeons to visit, other places to explore, new monsters to kill, fun bosses to fight (some have little tricks that makes fighting them fun)

My reason to level up is to explore the game. Visit all the areas, get all the skills. Plus after only focusing on pvp in the other games I've played, when I started here I found I actually like grinding.

If you don't like playing this game, just go do something else. Find yourself a hobby, read a book or something else. If you don't like it now, you probably won't like it lateron either.

the basic principal behind this style game is leveling, and exploring new areas. If you dont like to level maybe you should try a FPS. Just go shoot other people. Its a lil more fast paced.

It never "gets better" if you dont like the basic structure of the game

I asked the same question myself. Why do I level?

Well, the game is killing mobs or players. The higher you are the better is the experience doing it. Since, you more skills than before.

Initially you only kill by normal attacks, later you have skills available to do it fancier.

Also when you have these skills you can return to lower level mobs and kill 4 or 5 really quick as heroes do in movies.b:laugh

Besides it feels good when you help a lower level and get a thank you from him.b:laugh

If you are grinding and you're under say, lvl 40... DON'T! lol

Do all the quests available to you and you will lvl quickly. Just hit "Q" to bring up your quest list, the click "Find Quest" to find NPCs that have quests for you as well as their coordinates. Then use the Coordinates Assistant (bottom right icon under your mini-map with an arrow on it) and input the coordinates to see where the NPC is. You'll get a flag on your big map (press "M" for this), and a colored arrow on your normal game screen showing you the direction. You can do up to 5 coords at a time. I write down the coords and the name of the NPC, and after I have 5 I open the coord assistant and input it all. Then I map out a path, get the quests, and do them! lol There were times I'd get the 5 quests, and repeat until my quest list was full or at least nearly full. You should lvl VERY quickly when you're in the early stages of the game. I finally got caught up with all my quests so "Find Quest" doesn't bring anything else up... lol I'm generally busier helping other people with their quests and such than my own so I tend to get behind but it helps to break the monotony. The only real downside is that I'm usually broke and lvl slowly myself until I put aside some grind time for myself. lol

If you play on LC the reason is so you can kill people all day and survive the big boys.
