'Rebirth'

Ok, so quite a few ppl are nearing the top levels now right? soo, what's going on for a high levelers other than sage/demon books and few improvements on armour etc?
This is what i propose (keep in mind i still don't know what max level is after reaching 60+ on a few jobs XD i'm guessing around 100-120?)
Once you've reached Level 100, you gain access to a optional Cultivation quest (or something similar) that will allow your character to be reborn.
Now what 'Rebirth' would allow you to do is start over with the same character from level 1, only this time you also gain access to a sub class.
By that i mean you gain access to skills from different classes in other words you could have a wizard-subbing veno which would give him access to some of the scarab spells, and access to pets to fight with (although their fighting ability would probably need to be limited compared to a veno main)
Basicly what you gain from each sub class is different and you don't gain ALL their abilities. Example: you are given a relative amount of 'Skill Points' Lets say 40? 50? These points are then spent everytime you train your subs skills
Example
Would be wiz sub veno again, with 40 points available you'd spend 10 points in Venomous Scarab (the first spell) to get it to Lv10 and then 3 into Ironwood Scarab to get it to Lv3 and your left with 27 points (levels) left to spend.
Your sub can only learn skills @ the same level they normally would if the sub class was your Main on another character.
Alternative Example
You can choose any 5-6 skills usable on another job to add to your own artillery , You gain a new 'Branch' in your skills but the Combat Level needed to learn/improve them that the other job needed still applies.
Additionally your stats once 'Reborn' will fall back to 5-5-5-5 BUT! this time around you gain 6-7 stats every level up compared to the usual 5
Now for the costs.
In exchange for the ability to become a hybrid class you would need twice the amount of EXP to level that you needed the first time around so lets say some random numbers:
to get from Level 1 to 2 on a brand new char would be
3100XP
to get from Level 1 to 2 on a reborn char would be
6200XP
This setting would allow you to gain access to new skills that you'd otherwise have to play a different to to use without rendering the Original jobs redundant additionally making XP needs higher would mean that everyone won't be running around all 'Uber' pk newer players with ease or obliterating all competition in TW
Conclusion:
Sub Class available from Lv100
CONDITION: Start from Lv1 with the same character
Pros:
Access to a number of skills from 1 other class
Additional Stat gain every Lv up
Cons:
2x EXP required every level compared to 'new characters'
I think thats it, ah well tell what you think b:victory

When (if ever) does the 2x exp end? My thinking is... It already takes an incredibly huge amount of time to level even as low as the 70's, 1mil+ xp/level. Doubling that time for a relatively small amount of help? It seems to me that it would be more efficient to just add more ways to enjoy what they already have. The focus on PvP is kind of sad, and so much of the game is the same kill, move, kill again, move again, for hours on end. b:cry
Rather then add a Rebirth, revamp the craft skills. 6 levels/skill? Kind of silly imo, make it 12 (or 13? I forget what the max gear level is), and make it have an impact if you've leveled it. It should be far easier to make 3 Starred 3rd level weapons than 3 Starred 9th level weapons obviously. b:surrender
Or add some kind of Player Owned Housing, and other less combat oriented things to the game. Give something other than TW and hanging out in SP PKing to look forward to.
That's my only complaint about the game really, that isn't a complaint against mmopger's in general anyway. There's nothing to do that isn't combat oriented. Sick of grinding? You do... Uh... Nothing? b:cry0 -
I agree, while i like the idea of having a subclass later on (something like guildwars 2nd profession) I think adding things to do at higher levels would keep the game interesting for much longer. The housing for instance has a lot of potential. If you add the TW/PK aspect to it, you could say wage war with an individual or a guild. As a guild if your house could be built onto the same map as everyone in the guild then TW could get very interesting. Things like guild storage could be possible and who knows, maybe during battles it would be possible to win something off the other guild like a trophy or something valuable to be displayed in your own hall until someone challenges you for it.0

Question How many time could you "reborn" so if you reached lv 100 again could you do it again and make a char that is untouchable??0

Given there's a grand total of 2 100's in all three servers, and it takes over 14 times as much XP to get to 105 as it does to reach 100, I think we're safe from people reaching the max level anytime soon.
And if people do start the max level'll get raised to 150 or so.0 -
A lot of the classes don't mix very well, though.
Archer doesn't really mix well with any of the other classes, unless you wanted to mix archer with archer for some strange reason.
Melee doesn't mix with magic, because melee classes don't put anything on magic, and magic classes won't put much on strength. And some mixes are kind of unfair, like a mage/cleric hybrid.I figured I should do something with my sig, so I made this for fun. My very first (poorly made) animation. b:victory

As for why Luffy is murdering Naruto, I have no idea either, but it looks cool.b:laugh0 -

No you get more skill points etc. so you could have a BM Mage.0 -
That'd be even more unfair. You could just make a BM Mage and only use the BM portion, making it stronger than a pure BM.I figured I should do something with my sig, so I made this for fun. My very first (poorly made) animation. b:victory
