Sudden death while flying

Hello there,
i,ve just started playing Perfect World yesterday so i'm a total noobie (or whatever its called these days). I am a elf priest so i have wings in the beginning of the game. In the description about aviation it says that you lose stamina or something when you fly which i thought is indicated by the light-blue bar under the exp bar. Problem is when i fly this bar just stays the same, i dont lose stamina. Also the wings say i should lose mana when flying which isnt true either. So im flying for like 3 minutes and all bars are still full and suddenly i die. This has happened like 5 times now. Am i missing something here or do i have a bug?

Any help or insight is greatly appreciated.

    The wings drain your mana but because you're an elf priest(cleric) your mana regeneration outstrips your mana drainage so it would appear that your wing 'stamina' is not decreasing at all. The only possible reason i can think of you dying mysteriously in the air is that you were attacked by air mobs. There are some vipions and firefoxes in the air above battlemark village. Its best you fly low and not at a high altitude to avoid said monsters.

    Actually i died once while flying over the feather city, there are no monsters there from what ive seen. Also with 'stamina bar' i dont mean the mana bar but the lightblue bar that only appears when you go into flying mode. Sorry for the confusion.

    When you use your natural wings, your flight stamina bar represents your mana divided by 2. So if you had 1000 mana, you would have 500 on your flight bar. If you cast a spell when you are flying, you should see it change.

    Ok, so unless you are attacked by any creature, or cast spells untill your mana depletes, you should be able to fly indefinately?
