That build is a mess. Dex is totally usless unless you wanna wear Light Armor, you have too much str, too much vit and too little mag.

You need at least 3 on mag each lvl in order to wear weapons of your lvl. You need 1 str every two lvls in order to wear the robes of your lvl. Those two attributes are the most important to you. You can put the rest of your points to vit but NOT to dex (leave dex to 5)

My recommendation is.... str: 1, dex: 0, vit: 2 and mag: 4 every two lvls.

    try:

1 str and 4 mag per level - high damage low survivability - my recommendation

1 str 1 vit 3 mag per level - lower damager - slightly higher survivability

you only need enough STR to wear arcane robes, which is about 1 STR every 2 levels Not 1 STR every level. I would be pumping into MAG for a few levels until you get to a 7 MAG 2 VIT and 1 STR ratio. Granted this is depending on what you want to to do. If you are planning to go FS (Full Support) then 7 MAG 2 VIT and 1 STR every two levels or even 6 MAG 3 VIT and 1 STR every two levels is the way to go. The last one of the two is considered a VIT build for a Cleric, which is popular with FS Clerics. Personnaly I like the 7-2-1 build because it gives you a little more punch for your attacks and heals. I believe the the 7-2-1 build is what Mystic is going for.

Sorry to hijack, but I have a similar question if I may.

I'm Lv 31 with the following (roughly):

    VIT 33
    STR 31
    DEX 20
    MG 90

Am I over investing somewhere? I've only recently started to read the guides and have been trying to keep to the 6MG/1STR/3VIT rule, sometimes giving a little more to MG every 2 levels.

    Thanks

I would actually suggest moving to a light armour build rather than try and salvage for arcane... Light armour needs dex to be worn - although you'll probably find that your damage will severely suffer for the next couple of levels (as you have points in vitality).

The light armour that I used until level 58 (where I respecced to arcane, mostly because people claimed I'd have greater survivability - while it means that I can now beatup Foxwings, I run away screaming from anything moving inside melee range for more than 20 seconds) is as follows: each level, 1 str / 1 dex / 3 mag

The result is that you'll have insanely low health. but you'll still be able to pack a punch in offense and healing, while pretty much being able to stand against magic and physical mobs both. Keep in mind, however, that you'll primarily end up fighting over the good three-star items with the archers and BMs because of this...

That is primarily to salvage the points you've put into dex - unless you have a reset note, of course, in which case I'd just say "don't forget to max Plume Shell!"

Thanks for that - so I should go 1 STR, 1 DEX and 3 MG from now on? If I do get a reset note, should I reset DEX or VIT into MG (and how much)?

Thing is, even with DEX as it is, I'm finding a lot of the blue light armor I pick up cant be worn since they always require 4-5 points more in DEX than I had. b:sad

a reset note isn't cheap, but restarting now would break your spirit. continue playing, maybe you'll be able to drop those few extra points. focus mainly on magic for awhile, you're missing a lot of it.
