Archer PvP Skills

I started my very first character in PWI and I'm a little lost. i have a lvl 59 archer and i found out my knockback skill doesn't work in pvp. Though still doing damage, it doesn't actually knock the player back. sad ..i already maxed the skill and wasted a good amount of spirit and it's more for pve. Wish i would have known i only would have put a few levels into it. Is there any other skill that doesn't work in that effect such as stormrage eagleon, frost arrow, sharpened tooth arrow, etc. Do any of these crippling effects become useless in pvp? I would like to put most of my spirit into a pvp build and just a few good skills for pve to grind effeciently. Also is there an actual good advantage to using a bow rather than a crossbow in PvP and if not why does the game even have bows? I've always been a big fan of bows, id prefer to use one. sorry its alot but i really need to know ! :)

    Just KB arrow doesnt work on PVP. All other effects work (although sometimes they dont work, like Aim Low, for no reason, I think its a glitch or a bug, no idea because it was suppose to work always)
    Slingshots, bows and xbows have slight differences but the main one is the damage range. Slings got high minimun damage and low max damage; xbows got low minimun damage and high max damage; and bows are average on both damages.

    People can do things to prevent effects like stun or slow from working.

    And you (your build, your combos, your gear, and your tactics) determine whether crossbows or regular bows work better. If you concern yourself with pure dps, bows listed average would be about 7% better than the same average for crossbows when you use normal attacks but bows have no innate advantage when you use skills.

    knockback works on pets currently, just not people in pvp, just wanted to make that distinction

    Knock back works on pets of venos, wingspan same thing..You fail if your tryna use knock back in PvP
