Bring Back Darkness Stamps!

I haven't seen darkness stamps drop in any FB after 59fb. After a search of the forums I discovered that this issue goes back as far as November! GM Kantorek and GM Xarfox have both acknowledged that this was a known issue in 2 separate posts that I found way back in early/mid December.

It's now mid February... why are there still no stamps dropping in 69, 79... etc?

There have been several patches and emergency fixes to correct things that are FAR more minor than this issue. There is an entire class of drops missing from the game and nothing has been done for over 3 months? Do you plan to give everyone over lvl 70 one thousand free rep points when the problem is repaired to make up for all the rep they missed out on?

I appreciate that the devs are busy, but this problem has existed long enough. There is now absolutely no reason to do any fb after 59 without wine. I used to enjoy doing 69, 79, 89fb without wine when I was on the PW-MY servers because the fights were challenging, and the rep was a nice reward.

So please, don't delay this fix any longer. It's starting to look like you don't care, and I hope that isn't true.

I hope others join me in requesting that this problem should be fixed asap.

    omg i never noticed. i only see darkness stamps in fb51 and lower, i dont even think i see any in fb59, probably just my luck. b:surrender

    I came to PWI from MY-EN and was really disappointed to hear that darkness stamps were not available in fb69 and above. I hope these are implemented again.

    Reading the MY-EN forums though it looks like that version has removed signets from fb89 and 99. Way to go after a bunch of people already have their "8jun" 8th military rank.

    im lvl 75 and have just over 3k rep. i gota get to 5k? it took me 75 levels to get to 3k should i be lvl 140 before my next rank?

    Darkness Stamps will be back, however they're being re-introduced into the game through a new "Challenge" or "Trophy" system. More details about this system will be released as soon as possible.

    That's fair. I don't mind if you change the way in which the rep is earned as long as it's still fun, and worthwhile.

    In the meantime, don't you think it would also be fair to allow the stamps to drop under the old system until you actually have this new system in place? And I don't think it's unreasonable to ask for "reputation compensation" for those people that have not had opportunity to earn rep in the last 3 months because the stamps were inexplicably turned off.

    I wonder if its this:
    See the Diety Tracing Envoy npc near the dungeon entrance.
    FB success mode
    FB89 hell: Kill 50% mobs and 1 boss (tian mo) within 16 min
    FB89 heaven: kill 50% mobs and 1 boss (last boss) within 20 min
    Pay 600k entrance fee and reward 30/15 signet depending on which patch you are on and a gold emblem, collect 8 to change a cape, 6 to change a random gold.

    b:surrender if so I'd prefer the old system to be reintroduced

    Yes it is, I also read that somewhere :

    You need to clean 50% of the FB's mobs and kill one boss into a ridiculous short given span of time.

    Meaning : If you don't have a very strong party/guild, forget it, you'll never be able to gather any significant amount of reputation.

    lol, not really sure if this is a rhetorical question, but here goes anyway :P

    Stamps are special "items" that sometimes drops from mobs inside FBs. Darkness stamps gives reputation (based on the FB/stamp level)

    Like yesterday i got a darkness stamp (level 8 i think) in FB59, it gave me 8 extra rep. b:pleased

    i'm lvl 42 and have been playing for several months now and I have never gotten any darkness stamps...ever. and i've been trying to figure out a way to get rep. So this means, with the new challenge or torphy system, i'm going to have to spend lots of coins (which i don't have much of) or gold to get rep? i really hope not. i was already frustrated. saw this thread and thought i found a ray of hope. b:cry at least make the challenges cheap. I can't afford anymore b:sad

    I've gotten 3 so far I think, and I go on a lot of FB runs... lol

    I've never done any FB over 59, but with the infrequency that these things drop, is it really that big a deal? Are the ones you used to get in the higher FBs worth that much rep?

    I seem them in fb59 when we went back unwined for first boss (saw 2 drop).

    It's a big deal because the frequency of the stamp drops goes up as the fb's get higher. So basically they disabled the highest FB's because they gave the most rep!

    In 19 fb you get lvl 1 stamps that are worth 4 rep and the drop rate from mobs is about 4-5%.

    Whereas in 79 fb you get lvl 7 stamps worth 10 rep each and the drop rate from mobs is 60-70%.

    My lvl 85 Veno (WereFox) on the PW-MY servers had 15000 rep points before I left to come here. Also, there were players on the PW-MY server that had earned their rank 8 military equipment (200,000 rep). And this equipment, especially the weapon is super sweet. Forget about anyone here ever getting that. I have talked to lvl 80+ ppl here that still haven't reached 5K.

    So yes, we are getting severely ripped off here. That's why I say they should reinstate the drops until they figure out this "trophy" thing of theirs. Why should we get nothing in the meantime?

    Buuut! The big idea behind this scheme of their is to one day introduce reputation candies. I guess their ripoff scheme will go like this :

    step 1 : remove all drop of stamps from FB69 and up

    step 2 : a few months later, introduce that stupid hard to make quest, bragging about how good they are to have put in a new way for players to gain reputation (which is much worst than farming Fbs for stamps, by the way)

    step 3 : listen to the complaint of players

    step 4 : put reputation candies into the cash shop, bragging about how they listen to the players' concerns by adding an easy way to gain reputation

    step 5 : watch the money come into their pockets

    As sad as your scenario sounds, I suspect that it is pretty accurate. I'm sure the only motivation behind removing the darkness stamps from higher FB's is money. They are trying to figure out a way to make us pay for something that used to be free to those that worked for it. Soon we'll be buying DQ items from the cash shop too.
