Which is better?

Between the archer and the cleric, which is better for solo and which is better for dps? Imput on this would be greatly appreciated.b:pleased

    I would say Cleric for solo as you can heal yourself (though you do need an MP Charm; costly)

    Archer (100%) for DPS over the cleric. Bad for soloing as you get hit by ranged monsters often and need an HP Charm (costly, also)

    actually archers aren't bad at solo after lvl30, but before that, is quite a pain to play. fortunately it will take about two days to get to lvl30, so that should not be a problem.

    on the other hand, you can build an FAC (full attack cleric) they do very good dps and can solo quite well, but be prepared that not many will want to in a party if you can't heal and buff.

    and yes, clerics are expensive as you are forced to use charms, but archer don't need to be expensive if you don't zhen. and you can just stick with with lvl1 ammo, so it won't be that costly
