cant log in

hello people i was wondering if anyone can help me. i just finished installing pw and getting all the patchs uploaded it tells me to click "Start to launch game" but when i click start the log in does nothing but dissapear. any solutions?

    I seem to be having a similar problem, but when I press start two pop ups come onto my screen. They just have jibberish on them except one part that says netmeeting? Then it disappears. Whats going on?

    Could you please provide us the following fields from a DXdiag :
    System Tab - System Information box -
    Operating System :
    Processor :
    Memory :

    Display Tab - device box -
    Name:
    Chip Type:

    Display Tab - driver box -
    Date:

    To open a dxdiag :
    In Vista, type dxdiag in the Start menu search bar
    In other versions of Windows, type dxdiag in the Run command (Start > Run)

    I too cannot log in. I have had the game for a long time...its just like the server is offline and gives me the timeout 40sec thingy before going back to the login screen.

    Lytewish could you please check your Antivirus, Firewalls, Peerguardian, etc let you connect to port 29,000?

    well, the server IS offline now. Maintenance. From 11 to 1 am PST. 7 to 9 GMT

    hehe i was thinkin the same thing - i could not log in before it indicated the servers were down... kind of confusing.

    I know you were joking but....

    21 posts? You have a long way to go without even looking at your post history. The GM's and we Moderators read every single post on this forum. If we see someone as helpfull and friendly over several weeks we may have a closer look at that person to see whether there is potential.

    I was joking, yeah. And I'm not much of a poster though I have the forum site open 24/7. I'm all the time checking new stuff and other's concerns. I just don't like to post.. much xD!

    Integrated graphicscard are not the best for gaming so it could be you need a new graphicscard though we can try to get it to work.

    1.Vista fix can be found here.

    2. You have a multicore please try this.

    Updating your graphicscard could also help and set your settings (especially for water) down. If it is still not working or you decide to buy a new graphicscard here the recommendation for what should be in it. My personal recommendation would be to buy a Nvidia card those seem to have the best support.
    Graphics card or chipset must support Pixel and Vertex Shaders 2.0 or later (hardware
    acceleration recommended), have 128MB of RAM or more
