EVENT: The Great Fashion Hunt! (Feb. 18 - Feb. 20)

In case you didn't get the memo - Times are tough out there in the real world! To help brighten things up we hope to light up your lives with some (almost) free goods! Cash Shop Fashion items to be exact. 30 individual items that will be handed out in PWI's first ever - Great Fashion Hunt!
Here's how this Hunt will play out:
Starting at 11 a.m. Wednesday (Feb. 18) through Friday (Feb. 20) 7 p.m. Pacific Time a GM will set up a Consignment Shop in a random city. This shop will contain 1 fashion item that will cost the lucky consumer a measly 1 coin! Of course we do need to introduce some element of challenge to this 'hunt' so the GM shop will be somewhat hidden and off the beaten path. All you need to do is keep your eyes peeled for the only shop that will have a red GM tag on it.
Each server will see a minimum of 1 GM shop being setup per day. Once the shop is up and tucked away in a hidden area a GM will server-broadcast what city the shop is located at. From there it's up to you to find it! Do keep in mind that these shops will appear at random intervals throughout the week so camping out on your favorite server for 4 days straight may not be the wisest strategy.
Remember, 30 svelte Fashion Items are up grabs for 1 coin each! 10 items given out across 3 servers each day! Good luck to all and hope to see you decked out in our fancy new duds soon.

Seriously!!! Dont you guys know what is going on or proofread? Does it start the 17th or the 18th? What kind of customer service operation are you running where the CS are disrespecting a paying customer that was pointing out an error! It doesnt matter if I was rude in my initial post. You are the paid and assuming trained employee.

I'd pull the stick out of your **** before you work to much harder at pissing off a GM. Cash Shop is an OPTIONAL part of the game. YOU are not required to do anything with it, including spending money on it. He wasn't being disrespectful either. And it isnt a stick up my ****. It is a rose bush! I would be more pleasant if I did not die countless times from Jewel being lured, posts going unanswered for days asking for information regarding when the event will end and where these wish chests are.0 -

Is there any chance that the announcement of which city the shop is in could be broadcast more than once? We can't all sit on the game all day long waiting for it.

We'll do in-game announcements once the shop is set up and ready for a customer or two. Making forum announcements is not a good idea because it would flood servers with players from other servers who don't normally play there. once the item is gone the shop will disappear. keep in mind though that each server will see a shop set up there at least 2-3 times per day.0 -

Just as an aside, I am hoping that you're going to be setting the shop times so that all timezones get a fair shot for the prize (ie they are not just for US time zones).0

BTW, I knew there was a mistake with the days shown on the events page. They wouldn't start a new even without having finished a previous one. Guys, come on... they give you a glass of water and you just drown inside of it...

I dont want to sound rude,, but is this going to actually happen? I have been on since 11am and havent seen even one announcement. I expected the first shop to b e set up sometime within the first 2 hrs of the event.0

GM's you really messed this 1st giveaway up, you gave a raptor mount to someone 5 MINUTES after saying that the event is begining , you did not give town location nor did you even give a hint ,Each server will see a minimum of at least 1 GM shop per day. Thought this was a bit of a non event to start with....that I would only bother even glancing around if I happened to be in the right town since the shop would be gone before people could port there most likely....now I'm glad I didn't get my hopes up.
They just gave away a black rapter on sanc...not a fashion item...and did NOT announce the town either.
Grats to the winner but come on GM's sort it out properly....would be nice to see 1 event that didn't go wrong some how.0
