So i decided to go from fists to axes for the pure reason that i <3 high dmg.

Lyndura, I expect yo uto help me out here xD

I am lvl 52 fist BM, but i plan on spending 20 bucks on the game to respec. to axes.

Now, what should my stat distribution be?
What skills should I max? And in what order?
How good are axes in PvP/PK/TW/FB/TT/LvLing/Etc.

Thanks :3

    yay! another axe seeker...b:victory
i too was not an axe user but i changed due less AOE spell from my sword/blade skills
i might say you would love being XBM for grinding or questing...

The use of reset scrolls depends on your current str point...by now you should hv at least STR 143 to wield lvl 47 Dual axe or may be you could try pole axe lvl 51 which requires str 152. So adjust and use the scrolls wisely.

For skill, get the axe mastery and Highland Cleave as high as possible. Max drake bash if your r keen for pvp. As for me, i just learn 2 lvl fissure becoz the dmg is not favourable (no wep dmg plus).

In my server, there r may axe-bm with diffrent build. Some put more STR and DEX than VIT and some put enuf DEX for wielding axe and the rest of the points to STR and VIT.

    hope this helps u b:bye
P.S I am currrently the STR and DEX build for high dmg....and stil love it so far :) though i know its not an ideal build for AXE BM.

I have 121 str and dex wit hequipd right now. Im planning on taking off 50 from dex and str and redistributed it carefully capping dex at 60 and vit at 50 then the rest to str.

And on the skills, i got it down basically.

hmm...i think you should put all 50 pcts to STR directly just to be safe...(since i m not sure how much STR u gained from equips). Lvl 60 TT weapons required 182 STR so just distribute your points safe enuf to be able to use that axe.

Once you have standardised your STR to 182 at Lvl 60, you can do 3 STR 1 VIT 1 DEX or 3 STR, 2 VIT for every level.

At level 52 the amount of STR needed is 158, then you go 3 STR per level. The build you said is pretty good, if you follow it, then it would be this way:

    STR - 158
    VIT - 50
    DEX- 60

2 points left. Getting 60 DEX is good since at that amount you get exactly 4% critical chance.

And well, Axes are pretty good at everything. They level the fastest, they hit multiple enemies at TW, when PKing it comes down to your equipment and build, but you perform very good if you have a PvP build, specially once you get Calamity Axes.

Pretty much is what you choosed:

    STR- 158
    VIT - 50
    DEX - 62

Going 3 STR, 2 DEX every level. While PvE build goes with 3 STR, 2 VIT every level.

The amount of VIT you choose can change, but 50 is a good amount to be with. If you have poor-decent gears, then you might need a little more, but if you have good-excellent gears, then you might consider getting a little less.

    No more arguing :P

    62 dex?

Wouldn't it be better to put that into str for a nice even 160?

    Also, how do I AoE?
I mean, with the 6-8 second cool downs, and only haveing 2 damages based AoEs and one stun AoE, i dont find it possible for me not to die easily. I mean i have my fist AoE, could i switch between those? or would i be useless considering that my dex is so low the fist i'd be using would be so low lvled? or is it more of an AoE, run, repeat kinda thing?

Well, since it's PvP you add 3 STR and 2 DEX every level, that's why the left points went to DEX.

Also, you have 2 skills on your Axe tree, Fissure and Highland Cleave, you have 2 from your common tree, Drake Sweep and Fan of Flames, and of course your AoE Stun. Those should be more than enough to keep you in constant AoE'ing, but if you have difficulties, you can always use level 1 Meteor Rush (Spear Skill) to push away the enemies and let your skills finish with the cooldown.

Nah, you will have plenty of points in a future to make it up for it...yes, you won't be as good as an Axe user of your level, but you will be ok. 1m Spirit points is a pretty good amount to get your Axe skills to a decent level.

So you get an idea, you can max 2-3 skill trees at level 89+

So thats that push back skill he used :o

    Alright, thanks :D

EDIT: will i be able to solo-AoE with/without a Gold HP Charm once I re-spec?

Also, how do axe BMs compare 1v1 vs other BMs?

Yes, you can pretty much solo AoE without Charm, just use your own heal and throw a potion from time to time and you will be ok.

And well, the higher level you get the more that fights become something about who deals the most damage is the one who wins, specially with Charms/Potions/Heal. So Axes are pretty good at PvPing if you have have a good amount of DEX, specially when you have Berserker as effect on your weapon.

But remember that in this game the equipment matters a lot, so also, the one who has the best equipment is the one more likely going to win.

Wrong and Wrong, that's only gear/stats related, nothing to do with the weapon.
