Stuck at Etherblade? Tips on how to free yourself

Ok so you became stuck at Etherblade lake and you can't move or anything because of that stupid error box. WRONG.

There is a way to get yourself free from that area. here's how to free yourself:

Log into the game like normal and go into the character which is stuck. when the loading screen is up (the screen with that green bar) HOLD DOWN(S or whatever) (or any key so that you move when you are in the game) once in the game DO NOT LET GO OF THAT KEY until you are sure that you are out of that error zone. once out, click ok on that error and log in again, you should be able back to normal and free to do whatever you were doing.

EDIT: If you were flying when the error hit you. log into the character but leave the error msg up, in the background (or the actualy game) your character will(should) be falling to the ground. After they're on the ground that's when you try it.

EDIT2: lolz only works in windows mode it seems

but note... this worked for me so it might not for you.

    I tried this but it didn't work. Since I was flying I wouldn't be able to move until I hit the ground and since I'm in the air when I log in I cant move thus making pw close before I can do anything like move.

    same thing happened to me.

    If you were in the air when the error hit, log into that character BUT DON'T CLICK ON THE ERROR BOX. Wait for your character to land on the ground first.

    kudos to you, works for me, although might take a few attemps to be fully clear of the error zone

    ugh tht noise the error box makes is so annoying >.<

    when you log in, leave the error box up. your character should be dropping to the ground. wait until he's on the ground then try it.

    try holding S or something when you're at the loading screen, not after it has loaded.

    Is this a fault that GM's know about? Why aren't they fixing it? I am flying and can't log in!

    This seems to work only, when you are in Windows-Mode (If you play in Fullscreen you may want to change this until you are free)

    I was flying when it happened. I keep trying to wait, run out the area etc... but I crash to desktop and cannot see where I am running around etc. My only option is to click okay and try again... still trying.

    I submitted a ticket, here's hoping the GMs just move me :-)

    EDIT:: The trick was in the previous post. You must be in windows mode!

    Didn't work for me at first, as above post said, change to windowed mode, then it worked.

    It works now!!

    Like the threadstarter said, log in your main char, then wait for the loading bar ( green color below the screen ) is almost done, then hit watever movement key u want to move, and u will see your char moving and the in the middle of the screen tats a error msg box, just ignore the msg box, keep moving your char till u r away from the lake. and also it worked in WINDOWED SCREEN not full screen!!

    had a faction member with the prob ,, all fixed :):):) thanks for the thread guys


    window mode wasnt an issue for her ,, but if it happens to anyone else we know how to fix it .. thanks guys

    I figured it out. Had to go to task manager and bring the element client to front so I can use the "WASD" commands. Thx again

    Worked thats! Took a couple ties to figure it out (i even got stuck on a rock lol) - but the trick was to hold my [move_foward_key] down while the character load screen was up and keep it down, turn your swound off to ignore the error noise and get away from there!!
