Right. i need some help seriously please.

I have no characters on any server of this game, i installed and patched everything, i clicked start and i recieved the same error all the players who ventured to that lake did.

Am i stuck in the same boat as them or do i have to do something before i can press start like make a character or whatever.

    I'm confused about what you're asking. Have you never created a character yet? if that's the case then yeah you have to make one to use...

    im so confused, its my first day with the game and i just dont know what to do at all.

    Righto.. helping you goes against everything I've ever learnt about evolution.. but here goes anyway. Since you're new here I won't flat out call you an idiot. I'll think it very loudly though.

    Log in, and to create a character, click on create.

    I honestly never thought I would actually need to type that out.

    Just to pre-empt your next **** topic: To play that character, click on play.
    Everyone here is ridiculously oversensitive.

    but guess what i get the error when i click start on the client. :\

    ok state the exact words the error gives you, or post a screenshot of that error and only then can anyone really help you.

    ok, im guessing that "in the same boat" was a figure of speech, and the "lake" was a location on the PWi map(etherblade lake?).
    FYI its not wise to mix up figure of speeches and other stuff unless you want the readers to think less of you...

    I get the same error message as those at etherblade lake, except mine occurs when pressing start on the client window after clicking on the desktop shortcut.

    and im sorry if i came off a bit newby but first day of new game and already angered by it.

    Ugh.. looks like I should have actually read your previous post. Great.. now I gotta venture some actual helpful advice instead of verbal abuse. Ugh.

    It's unlikely that you're getting the same error message as the Etherblade Lake shmeal. Since it's in Chinese characters, kinda hard to tell. I'd suggest trying to nab a screenie of the error message and throwing it around in case any Chinese speakers happen by.

    And kinda hard to say.. but sounds like an installing error. When you start the game, try using the 'Verify' button to see if you're all there, so to speak. Beyond that, no idea.

    verified 4 times, first time sadly it told me something had gone wrong, then it re-did the patch and well it keeps saying each time i verify its ok.

    i guess im going to have to get a screenie.

    I would open a support ticket and send them before/after screenshots (just before you click and get your error, along with your error popup) along with your problem's description.

    The GM's try to answer as soon as possible but a 24 hour turnaround is expected depending on the problem really.
