4 hours to get to level 5

Hi all,

How long would it take me to get to level 20, i am level 5 and it taken me 4/5hours to get to level 5. b:surrender

I love the game but, if it takes so long to level just to 4 i will never make it to 20 without it taking months is this true? or am i leveling wrong. b:sad

I am new to the game, i am running around most of the time doing quests.

    Jeez dood what have you been doing? Just killing monsters or doing quests?b:question

    I dont think it should take you 4 hours to get to lvl 5

    on average, it should take about 30mins to get to lvl9(all quests)

    lol yah they're right it should take u faster to lvl up... it took me a month to get to lvl 33

    i've been playing since November, on the weekends only and im 72, took me the weekend to get from 1-20, and that was on my first character ever. Shouldn't take 5 hours to get to lvl 5, i can get to lvl 73 in 5 hours.

    I just decided to go killing random things and now i am level 8, and it had taken me from 5 to 8 3hrs. b:sad

    What level can i start going into dungeons and stuff like that with a squad. b:laugh

    I guess you just skimmed what everyone else said.

    This is a QUEST EXP based game. Grinding will get you some exp,
    but the largest amount comes from quests.

    Go to here QUEST TIPS and read.

    Since you missed the entire thing about quests, someday
    you ought to go back here BEGINNER'S GUIDE and catch up.

    If you choose not to you'll be gimping yourself so please don't cry later.

    Having a high post count doesn't make you anything in the game.
    Unless you're attempting to kiss up to a GM and you KNOW what that makes you    . :D

    i think i played about 5 weeks now, and am 50,
    offcourse i did spend some coins and golds, on charms and bought stuff for quests so its easier with money.
    Faster mounts etc..

    what have you been doing? until around level 40, all you should be doing is quest quest quest and quest some more. its the fastest way to get exp, and you get reputation, spirit, and usually an ok amount of coin

    Huh, you must be doing somethin wrong. I hit L23 in 2 days, questing and grinding for ONE LEVEL. I grinded one level, quested the rest.

    4 hours to get to lvl 5 O_O

    wow you lvl so quick, i think i would need exp scroll to lvl that fast >.>

    really dude step it up, it took me 1 week to get from lvl 1-40, its really easy as you do all your quests then grind untill your next level.

    Best advice I can give is to play your character more effeciently. At the start of each new level, use the quest finder to make a list of all your quests, then go to each NPC and get the quest from them. Once you have gathered all the quests for your level, go out and do the quests, 1 right after another. Once you have finished all the quests you can, go turn them all in, and hit quest finder once more to insure you don't have any follow-up quests waiting. If no additional quests pop-up and you still haven't leveled, go out and grind until you make your next level. As soon as you reach the next level, repeat the process all over again.
