Hi,

ive reading some topics and still i have the question about stat points.

i am using now every lvl, 4 dex 1 str (just keeping str 4 points higher then my own lvl)

but at this stage mobs hit verry hard, i am lvl 20 and need a lot of potions.

is this the best way, or whats best to do?

your equipment and skills and how you fight also matter (and depend on each other and depend on your stats).

Everything depends on your fight strategy b:laugh

For example I kill ranged mobs this way:

Winged shell - >take aim - > normal attack till it hits me -> knock back arrow - > normal attack till it dies or if it is hp enhanced - then thunder...trust me - it works. b:victory
My people, some of them have run away to the hills
and have no shelter. No food, no one knows where they are,
hear me my chiefs, I am tired. My heart is sick and sad,
    I will fight no more....

    Against anything at max range..

Frost Arrow > normal shot >>

until its dead works great and it almost never hits me. Just make sure you also have Blazing Arrow on. If I miss a shot I usually throw in a knockback arrow on the fourth shot and they never get close, even ranged/casters.

    Frost Arrow > normal > normal > knockback > normal >>

both have worked nicely for me throughout my leveling.

I think frost arrow is useless against ranged mobs. They don't need to come very close to you to hit you so I don't see any sense in slowing their movement.

hey im lvl 39... yes it was hard to lvl at lvl 20... monsters used to come and hit me like i was nothing... but just keep lvling =]... they pwn b:victory

now as for a decent skill combo i used (at lvl 20):

    frost-->normal-->Lightning strike-->knockback-->frost-->normal to finish

and if i had chi and monster is far from dead i use shield after the last frost arrow...

use the fb19 weapon and u should have no problem.... as for armor/capes/accessories try to wear only 2 star gear for now

PS: stay on the path of 4 dex and 1 str a lvl...... it doesnt add up at lower lvls.. but for ever 20 u put in dex u get +1% crit.... at later lvls youll hit crits much more often and it will pay off (i got 9% crit so far... thats 1 crit every 10 hits and usually more ;]

    b:bye

For me, it keeps them well out of casting range. Lots of different combinations work though, this way just happens to be very mana efficient

I think the answer to your question depends on how you want to play.

Most people here will recommend pure dex, but if you PvP that might be bad? Personally, I met someone slightly lower level than me and his bow's minimum damage was higher than my sling's maximum damage. (My slingshot was a two star weapon enchanted +2, with two physical attack shards and a +physical attack bonus). And his bow had a lower level requirement than my sling did.

Since the damage difference between full dex and hybrid will be maybe 15% and since I have been able to fight rather effectively with my little slingshot, I do not think that this build choice really should matter very much.

Hybrid builds should recover faster than full dex builds, and can survive some punishment that full dex builds would have problems with. Full dex builds can kill slightly faster (maybe a shot or two) than hybrid builds, but have to get gear that helps them recover and survive. And in either case lots of other stuff also matters.

However, your best build would be having a cleric, tiger, fox, blademaster and mage in your squad.
