Manufacturing 2 star items?

I have just reached L50. I have just received the quests from the Elder to upgrade my manufacturing skills and need to craft 2 star items.

The Craftsman and Tailor only give the option to manufacture 1 star items. Is is by chance you get 2 star items when manufacturing? I have manufactured 2 star items in the past which I am currently wearing.

I crafted a couple of things for the quest to find only 1 star.

Thank you

When you craft X item, that X item can be 1*, 2* or 3* in order of rarity. So you would have to manufacture a LOT of that base item for a chance of 2*. (So just keep trying! You also get experience by crafting, tailoring or smithing...however this might be expensive on some items)

Alternatively you can buy it from others for around 100k for tailor/crafts and ~200k for blacksmith 2* on sanctuary. (These numbers depend highly on your patience, obviously. Also note that this may end up being the cheaper route for some.)

I've made most of my 2* (with some help from a friend who has better "luck" than me) and for some, I didn't bother because they were too costly. The Heretic Banishing Pataka comes to mind here.

Edit: Just saw you post another thread about this. Try not to double thread the same/similar topic - I believe Andracil has already told you it is sheer luck.

Sorry about the double thread, I guess I didn't check back in time to the original post.

I have selected email alerts to avoid this situation.

    Thanks again
