Element Client Crashing

Hi folks, I am hoping someone may have some insight into my issue! I have downloaded the game, installed, verified the files and patched to 71.. checking the status on the manual patch notes, I should be gtg.

After selecting start the game begins to load up and then I return to windowed mode. The "Element Client" is there but selecting the window gives me a black screen, which then closes back to my desktop. I am only able to close the Client through Task Manager.

I did manage to get into game earlier, but not now. I am using Vista and SP1

Any ideas would be great.. many thanks in advance

    Please run a Verify from the Launcher. If the problem persists, can you provide us the following fields from a DXdiag :
    System Tab - System Information box -
    Operating System :
    Processor :
    Memory :

    Display Tab - device box -
    Name:
    Chip Type:

    Display Tab - driver box -
    Date:

    To open a dxdiag :
    In Vista, type dxdiag in the Start menu search bar
    In other versions of Windows, type dxdiag in the Run command (Start > Run)
