Hey SpliceMaster (Connor?). This isn't completely right. You actually buy ("charge") ZEN from the PWI website. Then you can use the zen and transfer it to a server and get GOLD. With GOLD you can buy items from the boutique.
Silver is a fration of a gold. 1 Silver is approxamitely 1 cent (USD).

    1 USD = 100 ZEN = 1 GOLD = 100 SILVER

Approx. 1 gold is worth around 100k to 150k in coins.

The boutique is the cash shop, and yes, it does take real money. Hit "o" in game to open it.

There are also Silver Dragon Orders. You get these from doing DQs (Dragon Quests) you can start these at lvl 20 or 21. They take a long time and for what you get they aren't worth. Plus you won't get Silver DOs (Dragon Orders) until later and higher lvl Dragon Quests.

How do you pick a name for your character that actually works. I've tired lots of different ones. Some unusual and I can still not get a name for my character...It's starting to become VERY frustrating! b:angry

Buy a baby name book or look up baby names online. The best book is by Bruce Lansky. You will find that since there is a lot of people playing PW the common variation of a name is taken. In a baby name book it will list the common spelling of a name and then list all of it's spelling variations.

Example: Alexis which is a short form of Alexandra has all the following spelling variations; Aalexis, Ahlexis, Alaxis, Alecsis, Alecxis, Aleexis, Aleksis, Alexcis, Alexias, Alexiou, Alexiss, Alexiz, Alexxis, Alixis, Allexis, Elexis, Lexis.

If you get the common spelling of a name for your character consider yourself lucky. All my characters names in PW are a variation of a common spelling, and you never know you might like the variation over the common spelling. Hope this helped.
