You can sell what you purchased however you must sell it to another player. If you, for say, purchased a fashion item and wanted another you could sell it to another player for coins, you can do this through a consignment shop, a trade, or the auction house. If you wish to you could convert the coins you earn to gold by doing a gold trade at an Auctioneer.

You can't "return" it and get a refund at the boutique.
