Pets not gaining XP

I recently got a super cage so decided to hatch a few of my old pets that I had been carrying around as eggs. They kept their old levels but I notice they won't gain any xp. Is this a loyalty issue or a glitch? Anyone know? help!b:shocked

    Is their loyalty below 50? If so, they'll gain very little exp if any. o.o

    If the target is below their level, then = little to no pet xp

    But most likely, my guess is that you are in a group, so unless the pet is doing the most damage (and sometimes not even then) it will not receive any xp.

    Loyalty plays a factor, 60%-120% of xp totals, but never would give 0.

    exp gain will go as low as 10% if loyalty is in the 0-50 range. IIRC, if you re-hatch a pet that you've egged, its loyalty starts at zero.

    in a group the pet has to hav the first hit to get the xp. best place to level your pet is in the mice bashing room in the cube of fate. they are lvl 150ish tombstones but die in 1 hit and your pet gets 15xp no matter their lvl. i finally got my kitty to the same lvl as me in there
