Volcanic magmites are elite, fairly strong for their level. "Ground of logging" Is "Timberfeild" Near thousand wood ridge, north of Etherblade in the human starting area.

If you travel North-west of Timberfeild to the FB19 human cave (Firegrag grotto) a bunch of about 5 spawn outside it. Another alternative is also the non-elite Crystaline magmites which in the long have more defense (if i'm correct) than the volcanics but the volcanics have an extra skill. (Forget which) Those can be found hanging around Timberfeild.

Yea volcanic magmites have the "tough" skill which they never use. So its really 6 of one and half dozen of another as to which one to get.
