Tiger/Humanoid Skills

Hey I see a bunch lists for which skills to get as a tiger form but none for if you wanna both pve and pvp.

I was wondering if someone would post which skills I should get and keep leveling up for both tiger and human form?

    started my barb 3 days ago, almost level 40, equal to me (using 2 computers, tired of soloing a support cleric, lol)

    What I'm finding is the same situation as playing a support cleric. Even finishing all the quests and grinding, I am having issues keeping my skills maxed in my primary jobs (barb-tiger/tank, cleric-heals/buffs) with the earned spirit I receive. I'm still behind the curve in a couple on each of them. Usually by the time I finally catch up, I level and a new set of goals spring up. Pretty much 'as intended' is my guess, and it keeps me 'grinding'.

    I'm sure that will change once I reach higher levels, but I don't believe I will be spending skill points into any another tree in either character anytime soon.

    tiger is for tanking not PvP until you get demon at level 89.

    Question regarding that...

    If you're a tank spec, does it benefit you to go sage for tiger form?
    What I mean is, are there encounters that are overpowering where the maxed out tiger tank would benefit more from being a sage than if he was demon

    vs the benefits of being a maxed out tiger barb going demon in general, or do sage tigers have PvP/TW benefits?

    demon barbs are more for PvP, while sage is less PvP oriented.

    Another chance then:

    Have you or any barb ever gone full tiger spec and sage?
    Is it worth it?

    visa versa, any barb gone PvP spec (humanoid) with demon?

    I see in the guide (stickied) that they suggest going the opposite of your tree to 'balance', which is wise, but what if you went full bore into the one tree?

    Does the sage tiger pay off PvE? Or is it not worth what you lose by not going demon?

    you dont "lose" anything no matter which path you choose. you can check skills here... www.ecatomb.net sage is less PvP oriented, and yes, many barbs go full "tiger spec" (known as full vit build) and yes, im planning on going demon humanoid build. sage form = more hp in tiger mode, demon mode = crazy crit rate and 300% accuracy buff

    FYI sage mode with tiger is almost unkillable. So in PVP it'd be pretty good. Conversely, demon with humanoid is pretty bad, u get killed QUICK. Tiger with demon is pretty good (in PVP not PVE), better than sage mode + tiger. But if you want the most amount of benefits, go tiger + sage (pretty good PVP and pwnage in PVE) TW is better for those barbs also, because barbs are the ones holding the tanks not the ones dealing the damage.

    i dunno WHAT your smoking, but if you build your barb right, no MATTER WHAT path you choose, you will NEVER be killed "Fast" unless you come across a spark+crit+ultimate skill. (this would require chi pots) i own in humanoid barb, so why would demon be worse? you ever see a barb pk in tiger mode against people his level? no, because humanoid is meant for PK. lol get your facts straight

    Actually i PvP in tiger all the time lol and it works great :P sure you dont have a stun in tiger form, but i still get the job done. AND once you hit demon when in tiger form you lose the reduced attack, so you can do full dmg in tiger form (which would make it great for PvP)!

    Well I mean "fast" as in you will be killed without killing the other player. Barbs will never be the DD, ever. If you go demon+humanoid, you will not be *wanted* in parties. And Barb + demon is the best PVP, which form you go in depends on who you are facing, mages, go in tiger. Archers, go in humanoid, BTW if you ever wanna hit em, go dex build (PVP only). And yes I have seen a barb go in tiger form to pk someone his level, Grimflamez pks in tiger form demon, and guess what? he pwns.

    dont speak for grim , let him speak for himself, you wont be owning anyone with skill in tiger form. not a DD? get to 70+ then speak, i out DD most BM's on my server. simply because i get in more attacks than they do. Barbs shouldnt die 1v1 unless they get triple sparked + ultimate skill + crit.

    Your talking about 70+, I'm talking about 89+. Hell Tiger barb, has the added HP, regular attk, poison fang, strength of titans buff, hp buff. Humanoid only has both the buffs and reg attk. Why wouldn't tiger form own again? You would only use humanoid against archers, due to bloodbath (maby some BMs). Tiger against other classes.

    no.. .you have DD skills in humanoid forms.... not many DD skills in tiger, they are slow channel and cooldown, human form is much better at pking... dont talk about 89+ when your 66... i pk with barbs 89+ and players 90+....

    He's 66 on LC, you're on a PvE server, no offense, but when talking PvP I would heed the advice of someone grinding on LC over a PvE server.
    Level has very little difference in opinion when comparing the two (after level 30, it could very well take triple+ the actual time on LC to level up vs HT or Sanc).

    Also, a forum avatar is not always the exact representation of a player's abilities, nor the total list of toons he/she plays.

    EDIT: not a flame, just something to ponder.
