Non PK item drop on death.

I was very confused today as when I died I droped a item out of my invantory. I am not in PK mode and never will be as I am a PvE only player. I thought that only thoughs that turn on PK drop items with red names highest drop rate. Or am I wrong? I was lucky and got my item back but I'd like to know if even PvE truly has a drop item risk as it seems?

If it makes a diffrance it was a boss that one shot me... had no clue I was on his walk path b:chuckle

    I've never heard of this happening before. Please send a ticket to customer support to let them know.

    Yes there is always a 1% chance to drop an item when dead whether or not you are in PK mode though in that mode the chances to drop things are higher.

    Guess I will just keep most of what Im not wearing in my bank for saftey.

    I often do drop something when I die.
    I even had to come back fetch my trousers once :)

    Granted, all my friends call me a jinx : no matter which game it is, if I join a party there's absolutely no drops bar coins ; mobs that should not respawn, do ; mob that should, don't ; friends with a perfect ISP connexion get suddenly lagging and disconnected ... All Praises to Murphy The Allmighty !

    Then a friend gave me Guardian Angels.
    My life has changed since. :o

    Actually, since I'm an archer_ whatever doesn't kill me - I kill it..
    but the "no drops only coins" thing bugs me the most..smrc..

    I've only ever dropped one item in pve mode. It was 20 focus powder on Dismal Shade when the party wiped. Needless to say, I forgot I was in a party and tried to pick it up again, only to have the low level veno get it! And they wouldn't return it!!
