Can you include yourself in squad list?

I play a cleric and I'm finding it particularly hard due to one issue. I am generally safe in a part, keeping away from aggression and hence my health bar is normally full. I heal by looking in the squad list and seeing who is taking damage, directly targetting that way.

My big problem is when I start taking damage, in a busy fight it is often damn hard to tell that I've started taking damage and frequently I only notice when its too late. My own hp bar is just too far out of my concentrated area to notice it quickly enough.

Is it possible to include my own name and hp bar alongside the rest of the squad, or must I learn to expand my area of focus?

thanks in advance

I don't think you can. But you will get used to looking at your hp bar alot in combat.
Just don't sing along to any sort of music because the next thing you know your dead lol.

I used to do that all the time too. Still happens occasionally. It helps to set a small bar above your head -- click the letters "HP" next to the main HP bar in the potrait. This makes a thin red bar float above your head and your target's head at all times. You're more likely to notice your health dropping this way.

But afaik, there is no way to include yourself in the party window.

I think having that floating hp bar would help a great deal.

Thanks a lot for the info

I run into the same problem occasionally (used to happen a lot). The HP bar is helpful but it would be great if they added a feature where you can include your own name on the squad list. Most of the time that's what I'm looking at. =P

Well you could always just move your squad window closer to your hp bar

That's where I keep the squad panel is directly under my char panel. Its right above the squad one that way so its a whole lot easier.

I too get into healing the party too much if I see they are starting to take a lot of damage. If I start getting hit I hit the Esc key to cancel out the skill I'm using at that very moment and I have my ironheart on F1 to quickly heal myself along with potions and mats to give me a bigger quicker boots of hp and mp since we clerics tend to die a lot faster when we get hit.

I never knew about clicking on the hp or mp abbreviations to get the lil bars above your head but you can bet I'm going use them now, so thnx for the 411.

Same here, squad panel is directly bellow my own hp/mp bars.

Tip: If you click the "hp" and "mp" buttons near your bars, it will show up another bar above your character head.

Do wish they would add the option to show all members of the party tho.

Often times when adding ppl to the group, i'm not paying attention and not couting myself then i end up with a extra person that cant join.
