Whenever I'm in or around the area of Windswept Grasslands, I get multiple crashes to the desktop and the error report thing pops up. I have no problem logging back in, but if I stay in that area I end up crashing again and again. I've tried verifying my files but no change. I have no problems crashing in any other area.
Anyone else having this problem or have any ideas on how to fix it?

Updated my video driver and made sure I had the latest version of Direct X, and still having the problem. I'd just avoud the area it's happening in, but I'm at the lvl where all my missions are there. I tried sending in the error report a few times after it crashed, but got an error trying to reach the server.
It's just so weird that the game crashes only in that area and nowhere else...

A few days before the new patch...62...my client just started closing on its own. no error message. nothing, just shut down to the desktop. i can restart the client, but it seems 1 or 2 minutes into the game it quits to desktop again.

whats going on? i used to run the game so good...i mean i had the water turned off and the terrain was off. but it ran fine.
today i cant play for more than 2 minutes at a time.

EDIT: and i just learned, i dont need to be in-game for it to crash. i alt-tabbed and watched the client vanish. no error message at all.

You may have to use the drivers for eMachines. nVidia's may not work right.

EDIT: There have been issues with using nVidia's direct/native drivers on proprietary nVidia integrated chipsets, mainly overheating.
So if there are drivers for your chipset from the computer manufacturer, you will have to go with those, as they have been optimized for your system.
The downside is, they may never be updated, or work right for your games, versus using the same chipset as an add-on graphics card using the direct nVidia drivers.Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

Well, I was wrong...got a mission back in the Windswept Grasslands and started crashing to desktop again. I'll try doing another verify, and if that doesn't fix it, I guess I'll try a new install of the game.0
