Rebuild the Sword help!

So, I have this quest and I have to collect 5 element fragments. Now I was doing this quest for hours, and I only got 2 of the fragments, but, whatever, I figured since we only need 5 it was going to be a pretty rare drop.

I log out for the night, and the the next time I log in, I have 0 element fragments. So my question is, do I have to get all of the fragments in one sitting, or was this just a fluke in the system?

    definately a fluke. Element fragments shouldn't disappear when u log in. btw, they aren't THAT rare, depends on what you fight. Dryads, and torgirns in the lvl 20-30 range drop a lot

    You should send in a support ticket.

    And elemental frags are not rare at all.

    As for what I'm killing, its some type of blob, whatever the quest said to kill.
