Making coin as a barb?

Okay well I'm in my low 60s and coin seems to be hard to come by.. whats my best bet for making coin as a tiger build tank barb? Grinding barely seems to keep up with the cost of skills and repairs and getting good gear is out of the question unless I buy gold and sell for coin.. Am I doing it wrong? Is my best bet just to farm mats for a while? Any help would be appreciated.. Thanks

    Making money is really hard as a barb,

    I would suggest getting a veno alt and selling pet eggs? many of my friends do it and some make 300k a day off it...

    Farming mats works, recently made 400k off of mats i farmed on an alt

    Selling old equipment in the AH (aution house) if its any good is a decent way to make some extra cash

    other than that just keep on grinding lol

    I quit doing Dragon Quests and set up shop. Sell items at only double the price I could sell to NCP, that keeps my Inv. low and people happy. Have over a million coins in my safe.

    I do that.. but my skills cost over 100k now .. after fb59 I spent 500k on skills so the money goes out the door pretty quick

    Well..I better not suggest anything else untill I get to your lvl. I hope I dont have the same problem but I do help out alot of people while in squad and leave store running at night and while I am at work. (crosses fingers and starts using duct tape on armor)

    but i find the best way to make quick cash (and im only lvl 50)but in my opinion do a buttload of fb19-39 runs by urself and get the molds i get maybe 4 or 5 a day and they sell for 500-1.7 mil a day

    does that actually work? I was told the mold drop rate on FBs without tabs ran by higher levels is insanely low .. how many do you run that you get 4 to 5 a day

    also.. question for sticky.. how often do you TT and how do you find squads.. is it just in your faction? cause I can never find a full squad to come with me.. kinda disappointed cause i figured tanks would be in high demand for TT runs

    I'm guessing you're speaking hypothetically... because:
    a) At level 50 you definitely can't solo FB39, and most likely can't solo 29.
    b) In order to be getting 4-5 molds a day you would statistically need to be doing about 3000 FB runs a day. Pardon my skepticism.

    So don't chime in with theoretical crapola. Try things before advising others to do so. Your $0.02 is worthless. Congratulations. Go wait in the car.

    As stated, you should create a Venomance as an alternate character. Get her up to about level 20 and capture pets. You can sell each egg for a decent sum of money, it's quite simple.

    yeh im lvl 64 barb and i died at the mob that opens the door to Qinzi in fb29. he explodes and deals dmg, im sure im not the only that has died thereb:chuckle

    i dunno about dieing at the key mob in fb29.. i've been able to solo it since about 60 with potions or a charm .. but yea running 29 for molds doesn't seem very effective.. and soloing 39 is not something i can do ... i still fail at finding TT groups though.. i dunno what i'm doing wrong o.O

    This has been nerfed. Eggs now only sell for 1 coin to a merchant.

    You can try selling eggs to other players, but they take a ton of inventory space (eggs don't stack), and any veno high enough level to use an egg is also high enough level to capture it themselves. So at most you'll be able to charge for teleport and convenience cost - maybe 1k-5k.

    The higher level eggs for making baby pets sell for more. Lower level venos can't tame some of the higher level mobs needed for the baby pets, so there's a market for those eggs. But in order to do that you need to get your veno up to those high levels, at which point it's probably no longer an alt.

    hey bro i feel your pain. my avatar has my IGN if you ever wanna TT run gimme a holler i am a tank but i have crazy and i mean totally insane clerics that i run with. if you are wiling to part with the first couple of drum pieces we will split the total loot evenly with all ppl in party. that is contingant on you being able to tank drum i can't do it yet (i am only lvl 59) my cleric keeps getting wiped by the aoe and i don't have the skills to stay alive till the second one give him a res so he can start spaming the heals again.
    any way sorry about the lenght if you wanna run TT just gimme a call and we will get a party for squad mode ;)

    i have no idea if i can tank drum like that.. cause the only time i went through.. one cleric BB'd and the other spam healed me.. noone died .. i prefer it that way
