Best solo class?

Sorry if this thread doesn't exactly fit in with the board, but since there's no general class discussion board I decided to post here...

The title pretty much says it all. I'm wondering what the best class is to solo play overall. Any information or opinion would be nice, the more detailed the better of course...

And, because I have a sneaking suspicion that this best class may be Venomancer... can I have the 2nd best class, too? XD

    Well early on you can't argue venos are the best
    barbarians are too weak and have trouble with magic mobs
    blademasters can't tank as well and have huge problems with magic mobs
    Archers are too fragile and die easy
    Clerics their heals are too weak to keep up with mobs
    Wizards die way too easy

    but In later game like lvl 45 I found clerics to be just as good as venos because once our Ironheart blessing heals 270+hp persecond nothing we really can't kill.
    barbs: get fantastic hp and their damage is quite good at higher levels
    bms: - no comment they good for nothing
    archers: deal great damage but are always hurt badly in combat, no charm = failure
    mages: suck suck suck die!
    venos: basically no diffrence than lower levels
    my opinion venos are lame all that hatching egg **** tameing feeding.
    healing a pet bascially nothing else.
    I will quit PW if they ever add a male venomacer
    I'm level 54 but I can solo suzerix and Krixxix that's good soloing ^.^

    I've heard that late in the game (like 80+ late, not 45) wizards can pretty much kill anything and everything, usually with the exception of archers. But even as a wizard in PvE I wouldn't try to grind solo. Venos can solo from the get-go, but you have to understand the roles of classes in a party since a Veno is, in essence, a miniature party. Your pet is the tank while you act as both the DD mage and cleric. For the pet, most people use Magmites, but you can use anything that has high defense, high HP, and usually a pretty decent attack to hold aggro. As for yourself, you'll be casting your spells from the background but you'll also need to watch the health of your pet. If you don't heal it and it dies, unless the mob has very little HP left, you're basically screwed (unless a kind Barb/BM comes along and saves your butt).

    I knew this lvl 76 pure mag wizard (he lowered his vit down to 3) he was complaining he couldnt kill things in 4 shots.. prob exadurating but yeah lol

    Your obviously biased opinion towards Clerics and continuous trolling of Wizards is really starting to annoy me.

    A Cleric does not solo better than a Veno. Point. Having a lv60 Veno alt has shown me that.
