Reputation For Crazy Stone and more

Hi guys. Let's get this message heard. I know all of you need reputation just as bad as me and that getting experience from crazy stone(daily quest) without getting any reputation with it makes it harder and harder to achieve the rank you want on time. And if you don't achieve it on time then what good is the armor? To fix this I suggest that at level 30 you gain 3 rep per daily crazy stone and then at level 40-49 you gain 4 per crazy stone, 5 for 50-59, etc.
My second suggestion is an option to "stake" during duels. Battle your friends for a few coins, battle your enemies for a mount, lose it all, or win it all. This option would have to come with more updates such as a "duel settings" menu before each fight. This way you and your opponent could agree whether things such as potions, flying, equipment change, etc. would be allowed during the fight.
These are two suggestions I would really like to see passed so I would really appreciate everyone's support. I will update this thread atleast once a day so leave me a post saying whether you support both my suggestions or neither. Thank you all.

Staking would sound like this would be like RuneScape. I do agree on the Crazy Stone tho but I don't know what that is."Don't judge by a book by its cover, judge it by it's grammar and punctuation." - Oracle.0

I dont believe rep should be given away so freely
reputation is an honour - crazy stone is a easy quest
there are plenty of ways to add rep - do the solo one man quests - or envoys over 60
Also with the stakes - i feel there would be alot of QQ about - oh you used a pot in a duel - i didnt know - give it back, etc, although im sure if u wanted to do this then u could ask ppl before u duel
just my opinion[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I dont like the rep points for crazy stone. Its a cheap quest that gives alot of exp. Thats all it should be for, to take the edge off of leveling. Giving Rep too would just cheapen Rep.
I totally like the stake idea though. Make it more worth while[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
Rep for sitting still for ten mins? C'mon!
but the betting sounds nice,
Maybe they could even set it up so that players can bet their hard earned Rep in duels? that would be interesting...[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Oh, I like that. That would be good.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
We should definitely not allow the transferring of rep from one player to another - just like we should not allow the transferring of military gears. It is flawed. People can somehow manage to transfer rep from their alts to main, from retired account to active.
Please understand the ultimate goal of the game is the have more rep. If we had enough rep, we dont need to farm TT, do FB or questing, every1 just runs around with Rank gears which are better than anything else at that lvl.0 -
Thank you guys for your feedback. This post is in response to those who don't agree with reputation for crazy stone.
Firstly, the whole story line of Crazy Stone contributes to the fact that it should give reputation. You are helping people in the city thus it should raise your reputation in the city. Secondly, to the comment about reputation being an "honour" or that it is already easy to get, I have this to say. It is not an "honour" when you can just find darkness stamps on the ground, or buy wraith soldier dog tags. Rich people behind on reputation can simply buy reputation in the form of some Scrolls, Wraith drops, etc. It is also not easy to get. Even with one man army's, darkness stamps, wraith dog tags, and doing every quest available i will not have 2500 rep by level 60. Thus I will restate one of my orignal points and say that by the time I get that rep, the armor will almost be obsolete. And if you did the math, a couple reputation a day from daily quest is not going to have a dramatic impact. So it will not lessen the value of rep. It will simply give a small contribution to achieving ranks on time.
Thank you for your comments.0 -
ok - i agree with the story line - but its something u can do every day and isnt really any work - the dogtags n darkness stamps, the honour is doing the fb, and if you want rep that bad u can do more that a 'few' one man quests, you can sit and do em all day long.
to b fair there arent many good rep items, ive bought them and discarded them cos they were no match to ones i had made. I feel that making it a bit easier to get it in time wont make much difference
all in all - why change good exp?[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

i agree that we should get rep from the crazy stone. yes, we do just sit there for 10 mins, but the story of crazy stones is that you are contributing to the wraith army, and helping the citizens. as rep is earned for helping people, this is also another way of helping people.
Staking, yea sounds like its from runescape, but its a great idea. although it may take away from the pking aspect of the game. maybe if you had to enter the arena to stake people it would work. that way normal pking could function properly throughout the normal game.0 -
In response to Frickkina, rank armor may not be good to you, but many players dont have money to spend on mats or good armor. So rank armor is a great alternative. And if you actually get the rank on time then you can use before you have a chance to acquire better armor seeing as how you can use rank armor sooenr if acquired on time. For example if I can achieve Rank 3 by 60 then i will be able to wear Top, Legs, and Belt all at 60. With other equipment i would have to wait til 60, 63, and 65 respectively for those things. Which with many players budgets may still not be better than rank armor. So yes, achieving the next rank in a timely fashion is important. And it is not like players will be able to just do daily quests and have enough rep. They will still haev to do all the things you are saying, quest, one man army's, FBs, wraith evasions, etc. It will just inch the process along a day at a time.
About the subject of it interfering with PKing. I do kind of like the arena part of it, however, i do not feel it will interfere with PKing, seeing as how it is just an upgrade to dueling, not a new introduction entirely. Also, knowing some Pkers myself, i think many will relish the chance to prove in a fair fight(without double teaming, etc) they can win and get rewarded for it.
Ty again all for feedback. Keep it coming.0 -

Like most others that have posted, I don't think rep should be given for crazy stone. It's an abysmally easy quest that takes basically zero effort whatsoever.
Also like most others have said, a stakes option for duels would be quite fun. However, allowing this would also allow for an anything goes duel where you do whatever you can to win, including potions, apothecary items, more recently acquired chocolates, and various other things of that nature. You would also have a lot more people fleeing from duels if they start to lose, which would end up bringing calls to the GM's for revisions to this option, as well as even more drama within the game itself. The only way to solve this issue would be to create an un-exitable ring of a certain distance around the two dueling players. I'm not a programmer, I don't know how much work that would be.
As fun of an idea as this is, and as much as I personally would enjoy it, a lot of people would just end up getting angry if it wasn't extremely carefully planned out due to players exploiting things like "run far enough and the duel will end in a draw".[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

*i support staking in duels - as long as the coin comes from one of the duelists.
* i do NOT support rep for crazy stone (as much as i want it too)- because it would no longer be the "trade-off", ie do you want level or rep?, can't have both quickly.mmorpg is R'lyehian for: Innumerable quantities of grown babies
