Howdy all!

Our regularly scheduled server maintenance has been postponed by 1 day. Instead, server maintenance will be held on Wednesday, January 21st from 11 p.m. - 1 a.m. Pacific Time.

Upon restoration of service your client will download and install a new patch.

    Moietu Lang quest now has the proper directions. The Other Moietu Lang is now renamed to Dragon Prince Loong.
    Localized more Cube of Fate rooms and NPCs.
    Added various other localization.

    Would have liked this for next week instead... You know why Dvorak! As it stands now it will be impossible for me to be here for next weeks maintenance! But yeah for tomorrow no problem with me.

    Thank you for informing us quickly. This game has by far the best GM's/Moderator's I've come across, they are even in-game. Where-as in other game's your lucky to see a GM in-game or on the forums. b:angry

    Beginning today, the prices of all refining materials in the boutique are permanently reduced!

    Forgive me for being cynical, but I lost faith in that word after the charm pack fiasco. Can a dev define what you mean by permanent or just go ahead and edit the announcement page _now_ to save you guys time in the future?

    the auto-pathing feature is great but I was just wandering whether you were going to change the entry in the in game help because it still says click on the mini map to 'ping' a location

    PERMANENT: (per-ma-nent) Any item in the boutique which is here today and gone tomorrow. Note: the word permanent is also not permanent.

    Dragon orbs (for 100% successful refinement) have been marked down considerably. However, purchasing the 10 pack of 1-star orbs is an even better deal. If you take 1-star orbs to the Jewelcraftsman (combine/orb) you can create single 2-12 star orbs for the 10 pack prices. Here is a price sheet comparing the boutique prices to the crafted prices.

    2 star = 1.2 gold in boutique (1.08 per/10 pack)
    1.08 gold if crafted from 4 1-star (from 10 pack)

    3 star = 3 gold in boutique (2.7 per/10 pack)
    2.7 gold if crafted from 10 1-star

    4 star = 7.5 gold in boutique
    6.75 gold if crafted from 25 1-star

    5 star = 18 gold in boutique
    16.2 gold if crafted from 60 1-star

    6 star = 39 gold if crafted from boutique purchased 5-star and 3-star
    35.1 gold if crafted from 130 1-star

    etc...

    So basically you will always be better off purchasing the 1 star 10 packs and crafting the orb you need. If PWi raises the price on the 1 star orbs or adds a manufacturing fee for orbs at the Jewelcraftsman this will no longer be the case. They claim this price change is permanent. (We all know from the charm pack fiasco what permanent means at PWi).

    Maybe permanent means that they have not set an expiration date, and does not that they will never ever change their minds?

    True, in the case of the orb price change one can see that "permanent" cannot mean eternal. For those unfamiliar with the "permanent" issue, a few months back they added charm packs to the boutique and announced that these were "permanent" additions. Without notice they removed these. When asked, they responded that it was in their best interests to return them and the glitch would hopefully be fixed soon. This was an acceptable explanation to many of us until they edited their original statement to remove the word "permanent" thus suggesting that the statement had never been made. Unfortunately, they have not kept the community informed about this matter making many wonder wtf is really going on.

    So the hundreds of made chocolates I stockpiled are worthless I see....
    It would have been nice to know not to waste my time/coins to make them.

    Oh well, small price to pay for no more stupid chocolate mats.
