I am sure several have noticed thee new "charge" on the Ultimate Gamecard. The gamecards use to be easily used but now they want to use a $20 game card and then say oh sorry you have to have another card (or do 2 seperate $10 cards) to cover the (or go around the) $20.76 fee they want to place on a $20 card. THIS is the reply I got from them...they so happily blamed PW. So Either PW messed up or they did..thought you all should know:

Thank you for your email. For us to provide alternate payment solutions we must use financial services that charge a fee for every transaction. We, in turn, need to add a fee to continue to provide our service. Some Game Providers absorb this fee on the Ultimate Game Card, at the moment Perfect World does not absorb this fee.     LOL so you do need another game card to charge the first, epic fail IMO

    Na if you do the $10 one twice it actually goes through. But for some reason they are saying that with the $20 card they HAVE to charge extra =P So If you all have cards, abuse that $10 option til they figure out they didn't add fees to that one =D

    Hello,

    I would advise using this as a temporary solution. We are working with PayByCash to figure out what has happened and see if we can get a resolution. We do not have an estimated time for when this will be resolved so please sit tight and the above is a way to move around that fee for now. I will let you all know when we get more information in regards to this problem.

    Don't blame them JUST yet. It could just be Pay By Cash fault. If PWE did somehow mess up them I am sure they will fix it. This thread is NOT made for people to bash them. It was just so they know and the players know.

    Thank you for your response. We apologize for any inconvenience this may be causing you. You will need to contact Perfect World Entertainment directly for questions regarding the change in price.

    When the Ultimate Game Card is applied to an order that is less than the face value of the card, the remaining balance of the card is transferred to the account, and stored as PayByCash Pixels. These can be used the same as cash for that account at anytime.

    To use the balance that is currently on your account you will first need to place a new order. Once you have placed this order you will be asked if you would like to use the balance that is noted on your account. You will need to select "Yes."

    The next step is to fill out the order information. Once you have filled this out, you will then be taken to the payment page where you will need to confirm your choice in order for your payment to go through. If you require any additional assistance or information, please feel free to contact us at any time.

    i never get an extra fee and i live in florida in the us and i use the ultimate game cards once every 2 weeks so its most likely where u live.
