Hey all I'm downloading the game right now actually. I'm still trying to decide what class I'm going to be playing and what server.

I used to play on a pvp server in the game Dark Age of Camelot. Most of the time it was a pain in the butt for leveling, unless you had a powerful guild to back you up. Is this the case on this game? Would you recommend new players start on a pve server? What is the differences? Lastly what are pro's and con's of each.

I don't recommend starting on pve server then changing over, you might get too attached. Go to each class forum, and read the discussions in there to find which one you want. On this server, if you want to pk go archer for lucky crits or wizard for one-shotting people. Go veno if you want to make lots of coin and easy leveling, cleric for good damage or support for tw (depending on build) and are also very good at leveling early. Blademaster if you like perma stunning people and barbarian if you want to tank and never die. Barbarians can kill too, dont underestimate them...

In PvE it's Whinners Fair, in PvP it's Bullies Fair.
Choose the evil you find the less annoying when you want to relax. :)

Well if you are used to PvP in one game, it wont be much different in the next. I would suggest taking a look at the different class sections as the poster above me said, I myself prefer to tank xD. This game is fairly balanced as far as the classes go, if the class is strong in a certain area it will be weak in another. Also your char depends not only on what class you choose, but how you build it (where you spend stat points, which skills you buy)

Good luck in game, hope you enjoy PWI as much as the rest of us!
