recently many ppl started asking me howmuch shards do i need to make this nd that.. howmuch does it cost me to make 4 flawless shards etc..

so Knoodlepot made some excel spreadsheet which he wanted to show online to calculate this all.. didnt work so i turned it into something better! an online shardcalculator that you dont have to download blalbalba meow !

anyway for all who wish to use this (still under construction need to add ALL the shards nd some nice extras incase u buy avarage to get higher lvls instead of going from shabbys nd up)

how does it work?
fill in the amount of shards you want to make leave the others on '0' and press next

cant be easier can it?

It really is just 3^n with n being the level of the shard you want to make though. Still, good job. May want to implement shards beyond flawless.

Not quite: It is 3 shards per combine for the first few shard levels, then 4 per combine, then 5 per combine, ... . So a straight 3^n formula comes out wrong.

Oh, that's right, I do seem to remember something to that effect. I've never made anything beyond a lvl 4 shard, that's all =P

I think this is a great thing you are doing, though alot of people will probably call it a waste of time. I once tried to do this for my own reference but screwed up the math somewhere along the line, so I eagerly await the finished product.

I thought I remembered seeing the jeweler charge me to combine soul gems. I do not see any such charges accounted for in that calculator?
