I'm going to go out on a whim here and guess that when you say defense values, you mean HP? If that's not right, I'm going to need more explanation on what you mean.
Some mobs cast a spell that does Damage over Time. I don't know about the specific Icons, but if a DoT spell gets cast on you, and icon will show up, and you will loose HP over time. The spell will stay on even when you kill the monster. You either wait it out, or have a 29+ cleric cast purify on you.0 -
thank you for the response.
but i didnt mean the spells. and the thing with the decreasing defense was a misunderstanding from me. b:surrender
but i still got a problem with the icon. here is a picture of my character window:

i mean the red icon right of my chi-bar. what is that? when im starting a battle and my chi is rising the first time up to 100%, this icon starts burning/glowing and all my chi goes down to 0%. b:sad

That's a spark. It equals 100 chi, and is used in some skills as well.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

oh really.
but when i wanted to learn a skill which needs sparks, i couldnt get it because it says, that i have no spark. but it already was there. hmmm. strange thing?!

you have to build up chi. When your chi meter gets full (100) you get one spark. Your chi meter will then drop to zero again and start building. Basically you can get to two sparks. I am not sure if your chi goes away after a while or if it stays charged.0

As far as I know, you only lose chi when you die, log out, use abilities that require chi, or get hit with an attack that damages Chi. I think Mages (wizards) have one that does that. Not responsible for missing drops/loot because YOU didn't pick YOURS up.0

i never fought a wizard. but hte cycle of rising chi and falling down to zero at once goes round and round during battle.

p.s. thx for all your answers. you helped me a lot.b:pleased0 -
What attacks you using whilst battling? If you use a skill that consumes chi, it will run out pretty quick.
With one spark you can store upto 200 chi. The chi meter stores 100 and the spark is 100. With normal attacks, you gain chi not lose it. When you reach 100 chi the yellow chi bar empties and the spark illuminates. Then the chi bar starts filling up again until it reaches 99 in the chi bar + 1 spark = 199chi.When the going gets tough; Get a tank!

Actually, with 1 spark, you can collect up to 199 Chi. The chi bar only goes to 99.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0
