Pigments and Dyes

Ok I tried checking out the sticky but I'm still confused. Whats the difference between these two? Say I get a green chain pants and I want to change the color. What do i need to purchase to entirely change the color to another color? (randomly of courseb:laugh)

    So if I buy a Random Pigment, all i have to do is use it on the fashion item and the color will be changed randomly?

    Yeah, but you need several pigments for one item. The item descriptions says how much. Also, you need to talk to a Seamstress to dye your clothing, you can't just use it.

    Then whats the point in the hot color package?

    You can't decide what you'll get from a random pigment. However, hot color packs will give you a randomly chosen color pigment, meaning you WILL know the result when you dye your clothes.

    SO its better to purchase 3 hot color map packs to change the color of the clothing?

    Eh, they're way more expensive though. And you can't decide what color you'll get.

    Hot Dye Pack - Gives you a random type of Pigment, you most likely will receive a Random Pigment in itself too.

    If you buy 3 Dye packs, chances of getting the same 3 pigments in a row is virtually 0.
