This has probably been asked before, but...
how long does it take for a pink name/red name to wear off back to white?

    It depends.

If your name is say, light pink...itll take a few minutes. By the time you've killed a few mobs and had some lulz it will be gone. Now if you are deep red, thats a different story. Itll take a good couple hours to wear down (I believe). I've never been deep red, so that estimation could be totally off. Light pink I know for a fact goes away fairly quickly.

Yeah, it reads on the pk switch. Killing one white name earns you 2 hours of red name.

Purple name comes when you attack other player or npc. Goes away in few mins.

Orange = Yup, what she said.
    Dark Orange = No effect.
I was going to post a reply... then I realized, you would likely reply in anger and insult me, to which I'd most likely respond with a wittier comment or slay you with a macro and then, onlookers, seeing that comments had been made, would interpret the traffic as interest, thus earning you attention you don't deserve for your **** post. So, when you DON'T see a comment from me, THAT is me saying "FAIL" in a much more effective manner.
