About the activity of high players.

If you play since the first day of beta and always grind in parties with an exp scroll, then its easy to hit 90+. If we wouldn't leave the house and play 24/7, then the rankings would be flooded with lvl 100+.
QFT. leveling isnt hard at all. most of the 90's could deffiently be 100, since im 82 and play maybe.... 3 hours a day on schooldays? i dont even grind more than 10 hours a week. the highest level on our server even has an alt that she levels lolLess QQ more Pew Pewb:thanks

I'm only level 71, and for me, leveling is just something that kinda happens, not something I am striving for.
Right now, I have "no life". My husband and I are in the agricultural field, and it's winter. In other words, not much work to be done. We have a little work in the morning taking care of the herd, a little in the evenings, and the occasional "crisis" that has to be dealt with. That leaves a lot of time to develop cabin fever! We can't leave the animals unattended for hours, but mostly our "job" at this time of year is looking our the window. We could either sit down and watch TV all day, or do something together that is a little more engaging.
I think a lot of people that leveled quickly are those that are able to multitask. For me, I can grind and chat, AND talk to the person beside me. But many of my friends have a hard time managing their skills while carrying a conversation. It seems to me that when people have to isolate themselves to level (i.e. miss out on the social aspect of MMOs), it becomes less enjoyable and more of a task that is dreaded. Most of the higher level people I have encountered are very social, and never miss a beat killing the boss while telling a joke.0 -

Thanks for the passive advertisement though.
Anyways get to lvl 75+ and you will see what I am talking about.
Don't talk like you know stuff at lvl 19. Reach 75+ and respond back about it when you get their. Let me know what you think about the activity of 90+
Wasn't encouragement to go play another game, jus' usin' that as a comparison. Personally I find this game more fun, regardless. The activity of high lvls over there is...bad...lot of people quit. Over here, even jus' readin the forums there are plenty of 90+ folk talkin' 'bout in-antics and their dramas. That's activity, whether it interests you or not.
Although as a side note; if you're slatin' me for only bein' a low level here, and comparin' it to a game I broke lvl cap on, I still know more about both than you if you're half way through lvl cap on this game and never even looked the other in question; so...don't talk like you know stuff. I know full well how hard a grind is in other games and have spent most of my time on PW so far talkin' to others and findin' out about this. Kindly, don't judge me jus' because of my lvl and post-count...was only makin' an opinion, ignorant or otherwise, like you asked for.0 -

The four days i get on a week between 4-7 hours in those days i grind and don't talk to anyone normally,i don't dread it i just find it easier to concentrate and make more money(which strangely enough i enjoy) without the added complication of trying to keep online friendships going,i have plenty in real life to keep track of :P
Anyways like someone else said, most people online are faking to some extent and would not be the same person face to face.
Back to op
I don't think using some of my spare time the way i do now is no lifeing(nor would i ever acc share or bot)and i'm pretty sure i'll be lvl 90+ within a few months(69 now)so it's not hard to believe that any of the top players currently could have done the same they have been playing the game since release i think...ofcourse theres always going to be some who did bot,acc share or w/e0 -
Shonindayo - Lost City wrote: »It is possible to play too much, ppl forget that. Having face 2 face interactions and relationships is VERY important to growth, maturity, and development. This is because the interactions you have online aren't real. Ppl aren't really who they say they are, they dont act the same, look the same, say the same things, nor any of that. Personas change online and that is a pure fact of life. Replacing face 2 face interactions with online ones is socially, and psychologically, unhealthy.
Spending a few hours a day on a game isnt bad. And I know quite a few married ppl who are high levels as well. Instead of watching the news when the kids are in bed, or cleaning the house 24/7 while the hubby is at work, they play PW. Makes sense to me, and I don't see a problem with it.
Then there are others who literally eat, work, play pw, and sleep. I'd call this unhealthy. You should be able to socialize with people around you, instead of through a tube. Not to mention the strain on your eyes. Go out on the weekends, have fun with your friends, play a sport, get some exercise, meet a fine member of the opposite sex (or same sex as the case may be), and generally enjoy life. Whatever you do, don't log in 10+hours of PW daily.
That being said, not all high levels are no lifers. There are some I'm sure, but its an unfair generalization to make. They might only play a few hours a day, but have been around since day 1. No way of knowing, peace.
You can socialize just fine online. You ever hear of social networking?0 -
Who says you cannae get 10+ hours of an MMO daily and excercise as well? Keep healthy, go out for runs or walks. Even excericse in the house.
Strain on your eyes? Not so bad if you know how to handle it. If you don't, yeah that can be bad for your eyes, but not to a severly unhealthy degree, like fist-fightin' or spraypaintin' street walls outside like so many others do.
Why play a sport? Personally I have no interest whatsoever in sports; they bore me. People who play sports get bored of games. That's a matter of different interests.
You can easily meet a fine member of the opposite/same sex and still log 10+ hours of a game daily. Hell, bein' an MMO and a *massive multi*player game, you can easily do this much *because* you play the game. It's actually quite common, these days.
Who says the people who og 10+ hours of an MMO a day don't enjoy life?
I know plenty of people who have that 10 hours spare, but don't play MMOs. What do they do? Sit and watch tv, complainin' that there's nothin' on, or sit in the park outside whinin' that there's nothin' to do. That's enjoyin' life? Playin' a game that you're devoted to is enjoyment, or you wouldnae do it.
It's all about how you see it. Don't log 10+ hours of an MMO a day if you're not into it. Don't do it out of habit; that's pointless. Do it 'cause it's worth it, to you. Similarly, don't sit and be bored, or get up to other **** when you'd rather kick back and play a game, but feel you shouldnae 'cuz someone else said you have no life.
I'm out at work 10 hours a day, where I get plenty of physical work done. I have met a fine member of the opposite sex, and spend much time w/ her, even online in the gamin' world. When I get home, I'm exhausted and like to kick back w/ a beer and relax, chat w/ people online and let off some steam killin' nearby monsters. I only play for a few hours, but that's mainly 'cuz I don't have time to otherwise. I gladly would spend more time on a game, and have done in my younger years when I had more free time.
I don't consider myself to have no life, jus' because I don't spent a lot of time outside in the constant rain, in a town where there's nothin' but housin', with a very small group of friend, wonderin' what I should do w/ myself today.0 -
Getting to 80 was easier than I thought, each day I wake up, a few people in the guild always need their FBs done, do WQ, daily, more FBs inbetween. If i'm done ahead of schedule, I just go to the PK hot spots for fun, or I could go outside. >_> :]
Let's not forget fox people have it easy when leveling.
I also remember hearing that the first two to get to 89 on Lost City botted their way there. Fat...Wall sniping, ninja tree magic, and medium range artillery. Whine less, please. b:lipcurl

Im pregnant so me and my husband decide i should quit my job to prevent me stress over it which would be bad for the baby
So i stay home do nothing and play all day does that mean i have no life...
I wonder play too much is bad for the babyb:surrender0 -
If you can get a good group to go re-birth FB 70-85. You get 4mil xp for 85 and below. 2.5 mil for L90 and below provided you pass the dungeon which has 10 level.
A good group should be able to clear within 3 hrs.0 -
I cant comment on other players obviously
