Update Server Connection Fails

I have tried everything from downloading the 1-59 patch and everything else i have read on the boards and i still get the update server connection fails. i need help please!!

    Why won't my game start? It says: "update server connection failed - Please try other update server"...
    As far as I know, server maintenance is over... Or isn't it???

    Help???

    oh btw: when I start game, the website in the starting screen won't load... Any ideas how to solve it?

    Something is blocking the updater from accessing the internet. Usually this is a firewall or other security software, such as peerguardian or Windows Firewall. Launcher.exe, Patcher.exe, and elementclient.exe must all be allowed to start outgoing TCP connections to the internet.

    Also, make sure your username has administrator or normal user permissions
