Snowing Still!

You still have that lag inducing snow in the cities. You REALLY could have gotten rid of it. My comp runs fine with it, but my laptop.... Not so fine.

What point is there to it still remaining in the game? None. Nobody wants it. Get rid of it.

    this update is not that bad, but the snow is the source of lag here. you gms going to take care of this issue? because people dont like this update including myself and many others.

    Well, I hope they fix this patch soon... After all, there won't be a manual patch for 60, apparently...

    Yes due to some technical difficultys (Don't ask me what I don't know) there won't be a manual patch till at the earliest tomorrow morning. Due to the patch being so small we are hoping most people will get the patch to work from the launcher for now. Though an upload of tasks.data and elements.data is up.

    On topic:

    I do not believe that it was intended for the charms pack to be removed. Please be patient until tomorrow morning when the GM's get back into office. I do believe they will fix it as soon as possible.

    There's no need to fix those because the Snowmen are gone. Drop the Mantous.

    Fair enough, on both counts. b:thanks I've got enough charms that I should be OK until an emergency maintenance. I'm certainly not going to put any gold up for auction until this is fixed though. I'd hate to lose my listing fee for something foreseeable... Well, unless there's more like-minded folk who don't list. Prices may go up. I'd have to sell then. Then I could justify buying single charms and be happy until it's fixed. b:victory

    Instead of removing just the snow, how about removing the entire Xmas event itself? (snow, the tree, Santa, etc)

    This is ridiculous people. They posted BEFORE the patch that there was some stuff they couldn't remove in this patch. Have some freakin' patience, and the maturity to not cuss someone out for not doing things your way. Whiny little brats...

    What has the thing about the Snowmen being gone have to do with fixing a broken item?

    I can't use this item to regain health and mana because the Snowmen are gone?

    It was never intended to give u health or mana, if u remember right when you did the mantou quest originally the 1st one you got was identical to this. It was only the second badge of 30 mantous that actually gve any hp/mp.

    Inexact, the first mantou from Man Hung and husband gives you 10 HP / 10 MP.

    The mantous dropped fron the snowmen has the same skin than the second one that gives 500 HP/MP.

    The last ones, given by less-beautiful-than-me Lady Whatshername near the west gate give 1500 HP/MP.

    Keep in mind that almost anyone with half a bit of sense ditched hundreds of those mantou they found lying around Arc. b:laugh

    Honestly, look at it this way: 2 weeks ago, a temporary mob started dropping useless stuff; today, the mob is gone and almost no one kept those drops. What's the point of changing what those drops do at this stage? The best case scenario is that there are LOTS of peeved players.

    Just to keep people less confused about them, I often sold mine to NPCs. Sure, they're worth exactly zero. But, at least they weren't lying on the ground, looking like stones that you can't see the label for. b:pleased If the behavior of the mantou changes, it's only fair to give NPC price for the replacements to everyone who sold them to NPC. (See where you upset even more players whether you do that or not, yet? See why it's becoming impractical for them to make changes AFTER the event?)

    In any case, the event is done. Let's wait for the straggling bits to disappear. Other than that, let's just leave it in the past. Changes made now are just closing the barn doors after the horses left.
