best solo and party character

hi guys, i am pretty new to this game. have a lvl 30 archer and just started this barb.

i am wondering, which class is capable of solo lvling, yet still quite useful in parties.

also, just want to ask, do barbs get asked to parties A LOT? and about which lvl will that occur.

    Most used solo lvlers are Venomancers, they have their own tank. Also quite handy in squads, they can pull monsters and tank (though not as good as barbs).
    Barbs get asked to dungeon and boss squads, and Zhen parties (AoE levelling parties). Not so often for regular grinding though.

    thanx, but the problem is that for some reason i don't really like venos

    my barb is tank build, can i still solo (just not as fast) in tiger form with shapeshifting intensify?
    or barbs just can't solo at all

    and from what you've said, barbs will lvl quite slowly, is that right?

    i'm looking for a class that is not too party reliant

    u can play an archer if u dont like the veno class. archers can kill fast, at certail lvl (i think 30).
    or a wiz, also fast kills. lots of mp used tho.

    both are needed as DD. prob is, there are lots of DDs in the game.

    if u like to solo a lot u can play a blade master. i think they are more solo type, since i never saw a WC looking for a BM but still many are playing them.

    OR u can play a cleric. good damage skills at starting lvls, can heal self, very needed in squads. b:pleased

    Hmm, I never saw a WC looking for an archer or wizard either come to think of it. No, I take that back. I have seen zhen parties looking for Blades, Archers, and Wiz - everything but Veno, really.

    Veno is the best solo and has a role in everything but zhen party (high-octane AoE leveling system used above level 60). I'm not sure how much being left out of those parties slows down a veno's leveling at the 60-80 range.

    Tank/Healer are the most wanted for almost everything but both have some issues with solo leveling. So, many/most players in these categories do a bit of a hybrid build that includes some solo PvE skills to make leveling easier.

Categories
