Stuck in best performance

The lag is getting insane in west archosaur, especially with the snow.
So whenever i'm there I have to turn on best performance, only this
time it didn't want me to turn it off. I tried turning it on and off a couple times, nothing changes.

I tried restarting the game..verifying the client files... but nothing :/
I went to the UI and changed the settings back to what they should be but still nothing changed T_T

    Try pressing Ctrl+F9

    If that doesn't work, try renaming the C:\Program Files\Perfect World Entertainment\Perfect World International\element\userdata folder to userdata_old, and do a Verify from the Launcher. This will manually reset nearly ever value.
