Claw BM??? I like rogues!

Yeah New to PWI,
I was flaming the forums for a topic on claw builds for a BM, but considering i haven't seen one i'm assuming Claw = all but useless?
I dunno tho b/c my white damage + speed with skill, I mob kill faster than using Axes/Hammers or ne other weapon.
So question is
A. Does dex help attack speed at all?
B. What's build for claw? I'm thinking 5 dex above required for weapon
C. Endgame result for claw? Or has no one tried.

    A. No, it has no effect on it.
    B. Minimum Dex/str for your weapon. From here on out you get two choices. You can either pump str to use heavy armor for greater survivability, pump dex for dodge, or add more to vit for survivability. From other fist warriors I've spoken to, at lower levels you may want to pump str to use heavy armor, then eventually when your dodge actually starts becoming useful make the switch over to light armor/pumped dex to take advantage of the warrior having the highest dodge gain per dex out of every class, including archers. Either way, you'll probably want to add some vit, unless you feel like going hardcore.
    C. Low damage but very fast hits. Dodge will make you win most melee fights, but kiters might give you some trouble.

    Also note, fast hits = faster chi gain = more sparks = higher damage.
    And sparked criticals hurt a lot.

    1.- Yes, they are useless.
    2.- No.
    3.- 5 STR, 4 DEX,1 VT every two levels.
    4.- Endgame is lowest damage, doing nothing but tickle other players and being always the worst at everything, PvE, PvP, TW, etc. That's IF you get to end game, because without AoEing it's going to be a long~ way there.

    Iam a light armored claw bm and i am doing just fine.
    Its true our dmg is low on a short times span (and kiter are a problem for us)
    but on a longer times space the dmg is substancial especialy when you use our AOE (we do have one) that gives a quicken buf .

    the quicken buf + dubble spatk(or the fire dmg buff we get after our line aoe) + crits = pain. your target can't move during that time .

    I do like these claws! I've been playing on and off, very staggered play times, i'm only lvl 16 now, but already i've noticed that my build, str = dex, is keeping my DPS higher than the other BM's. My skill damage is not so low either, I'm hitting 350 with my Stream Strike and I am able to use it A LOT more than the other guys. And with my build I have
    A> ABility to wear heavy armor
    B> still great dodge rate
    C> high damage
    My normal attack hits just as much as my Tiger Claw in the same amount of time. I hit twice and already i've done the same amount of damage as my Tiger Claw or Drake's Ray.

    Fist can be versatile if you work at it and if needed by later in the game there's no reason you can't add a secondary weapon path.

    Glad to hear it sounds like you're having fun though. After all that's what mmo's are about technically. Fun.

    I agree that using fist really doesn't gimp you too bad so far. I'm pretty sure my fist is a lvl lower than my pole and yet comparing dps is pretty much equal and with skills it is equal. My shadowless kick does about the same damage as my farstrike despite being a not so highly levled skill.

    I'm gunna try fist out =] sounds like a fun build
