I cant start the game!

I log on, select my character, and press start, but the game acts as though I pressed Escape! I am concerned though, since I can log on, which seems to be a common problem, but not play the actual game!
Please help me!

    Could you try pressing "W" while logging on?

    sadly not, but thanks for a try. I really appreciate it!
    strangely I can make people, and even edit original ones, but as soon as I press start, it exits.

    Try a verify from the launcher please.

    If the problem persists, please provide us the following fields from a DXdiag :
    System Tab - System Information box -
    Operating System :
    Processor :
    Memory :

    Display Tab - device box -
    Name:
    Chip Type:
    Approx Total Memory:

    Display Tab - driver box -
    Main Driver :
    Version :
    Date:

    To open a dxdiag :
    In Vista, type dxdiag in the Start menu search bar
    In other versions of Windows, type dxdiag in the Run command (Start > Run)
