If they're the same type of creature, the one that started at a lower level will end up being better. Although, I don't know why anyone would want to keep an undine long term, their laughing gets old very quickly.

When I first camped my hay on turtles I raised a level 5 turtle up to 24ish in the duration (was a long one).
Recently finished the fruit quest, so with the new slot I was able to re-up my turtle off of undine queens. That turtle now around 38 is 1 shotting undines whereever he goes, lol.
    Just a thought.

Also, as far as water pets go, the undine queen, princess, enchantres (that's their spelling), wench....
I have never tamed one, wonder how they would fare. Though I would never give up my turtle, he's too much of a beast.

i just caught the undine princess today, and as far as im concerned, i would like to throw her back. she is *not* a mermaid at all-kind of looked like a humman who stayed in the water too long and turned blue. she lookes almost nude, with a bikini that is barely visible, and, as a Catholic mom, i *dont't* appreciate nude women in my game! so she is going back into her egg, and im getting another of my reliable old tank turtles again.

    Shallowhirl Tortoise (43)
    HP 1446 attk 0.6 move 5.5
Phys Def 3931 Mag Def 3370
    Dam 741 Att 837 Evade 543
    starts with Bash (level 1)
also must note, it's regen is maxed outside the graphics on the pet screen.

I was able to let it basically solo the level 56 mermaids there, and 55 sharks the poster above is speaking of.

Probably my most fun pet to date.

Chyea... those are kind of okay. I'd say a turtle is much better raised from level 5, but then again... it was raised from level 5! Lol. I have a Death Dancer, which is one of those mermaids (the lowest level one at 54.)

They've got high speed, excellent aim, evasion and magic defense but that's it. The attack, hp and physical defense are very low. Regeneration is passable. But water pets are a novelty thing, since there's so little use for them anyways.

The only problem with the turtles ares their fat butts... or rather shells blocking 3/4 of the screen.

just swim around him (usually up), much like a flying pet.

he's a ton easier to get around than a magmite, lol.

    Also of note, it seems the xp/drops are better underwater, like in the air;
and the crowds/competition doesn't exist as much, so it's a bit better than a 'novelty' imho.

I strive to find nice quiet grind spots away from the crazies, so underwater seems a good avenue.

same problem i have with using a golem....and why i run a pack of wolves, rather than depend on one tank:i cant see around or click around something that fills most of the screen the way the big pets do. small and tough...but what would that be, is the real question!
