Cannot Connect to Server with a laptop?

Ok, I have a Windows SP Home Edition laptop. I downloaded the game using the part 1,2,3, and 4 way because when I tried Direct Download it wouldn't work. Then installed it sucessfully. But when I open Perfect World it says "Connecting to server" but an hour later the page cannot be found and it still has not connected to the server. I am using a Linksys Wireless G Notebook Adapter. The signal strength and link quality and at full bars. I sent a ticket but no reply. Can anyone help me?

    i have widows vista home edition laptop and i connect just fine maybe its ur wireless connection?

    What are you using to connect? Adapter?

    Maybe a need a new Wireless Adapter? I've had this one for a while... -_-

    Can you check the settings on your Windows Firewall, as well as any other security software you have installed, such as PeerGuardian or other firewalls?
