you get chi stones from decomposing items

and they are used to refill the duration on flying mounts or "fast mode"

    Hi

    I also have a CHI question ?
How does it work exactly, it is the bottom bar in yellow right ?
But how does it go full ?
It seems the answer above is not complete ?

    thx in advance

I believe the OP wanted to know about accelerate on his flying mount. That you can fill up by decomposing old weapons or armor and using the stones you get from that on your mount.

Chi is the yellow bar yes. This fills up by fighting or being carried. I believe it doesn't start till lvl 9 that you need Chi. It is needed for some skills and no it doesn't necessary stay up or will do so permanently. Some skills use Chi and also when you login and out you will find that you have no Chi then.

Two different things are being confused here.

Chi stones have nothing to do with your chi. They are obtained by decomposing items (now that the snowmen are gone) and can be used for recharging the flying mounts and making some apothecary charms.

The yellow bar indicates "your" chi. The bar indicates upto 99 chi. At later levels you get sparks (sparkly diamonds next to th yellow bar) to store more chi. Each spark = 100 chi.

This chi is used for certain skills (usually the good ones b:chuckle). Some skills require 1-2 sparks (i.e.100-200 chi).

You gain chi (think its 5 chi) for every successful attack you do in combat. I think a missed attack (not an issue for magic users b:angry) does not give any chi.

    Hope that helps b:victory.
