ok. this one is different than the rest, so please dont tell me to refer to another thread. i need to know how i should place my skill points, because until now i have completely messed it up. my skill point placement right now is: vit is 35 and mag is 68 (both green numbers) str is 13 and dex is 22 (both wite numbers) i have 5 skill points, and need to know how to place them and any in the future. does it change because of this wacky start?

You could go for a light armor build with those stats, though I would focus on building your Mag up a bit more first. Your vit may be too high to do that though.
If your vit is too high to go light armor (not going to calc it), then you'll either need to re-roll your character or just live with having a bit of dex.
Your dex is kind of borderline in my opinion. It's certainly not good for an arcane build, and if you were a purist, you should probably re-roll, however, I don't think that it's enough to seriously hinder you in the end-game as long as you focus on building your int.

A number in green just means that it is modified by your equipment or something other than the points that you have directly put into it.

If you similarly screwed up your skills, I would seriously consider re-rolling while you're still a fairly low level (24 isn't really all that high and can be remade within a couple of days)

As an arcane build, it would be possible, and perhaps desirable to get con though, would it not?
Though possibly not that much and not so early.

Arcane basically just means you stat to wear arcane armors, meaning high int, low str, and no agi.

It's like... the pure magic build.

Re-roll means to remake your character.

i dont eant to do that after getting to level 24. it would take all of the work again. and i am wearing arcane armor. how should i distribute in the future? as in, every level, where should my 5 points go? and what should i do with the 5 points ihave right now?

I hate to say this, but if you hope to have a decent pvp char, then you're screwed without a re-stat scroll, or re-rolling.

If you're PvE, then you may be ok, but you still won't have it as easy as another build, as you're about 50 points of mag short of where I was...

In fact, I have a light armor build, and a pure int build, and both of them have higher magic than that...

If you're going to stick with that character, put all your points into magic, but every other level, stick one point in strength.

if u re-roll ur character, it wouldn't take long for u to do the quests because u already know most of them. but, if u dont want to start over, allocate the points into MAG.

Seriously just start again. Like others have said you're not that far into the game. A build like yours will suck for a long time until your magic points catch up and I can imagine you'll gett frustrated with taking a long time to kill mobs.

Find someone you can trust to transfer your items to your new character, or simply mail them once your new character is made (costs 500 gold per item so wouldnt be worth it IMO). Or a riskier method is to find somewhere really secluded and log both characters there and drop all your gear then then relog as your new character.

Also seriously think about the server you want to play on. I'm more of a 'weekend' PvPer which is mostly satisfied by TW but at times I wish I'd started on Lost City...b:sin
