Some here may or may not know me, but I my name is Aurellius on the heavens tear server, my real life name is Sean.
Just thought I'de make this post seeing as 2008 is soon coming to a close and I've been given a chance to reflect on past events not only concerning myself but others around me.

As I've played Perfect World and continue to enjoy the atmosphere, I cannot help but recollect those small moments during gameplay where a laugh was brought up from pure pointless discussion.
Some of those friends that the laughs were shared with are long gone now, or still hanging around to be the cause or participant in many more.
It is moments like those that I often tell myself, "This is what it is all about", the laughs and fun is what makes a game something worth playing.

When I glance on the history of the world and where it has come from and appears to go to, it comes down to the fact that we rely on others.
As obvious as that statement may be, it is something so easily forgotten by everyone including myself. In a gaming atmosphere, we dont always pay a second mind to who we encounter, yet it is people like the ones we encounter that often make the game worth playing to someone.
I've spoken to my share of these people only to find such diverse personalities hidden behind the face of a character.
Ranging from children to adults, some disabled, others thriving in their business lifestyle or just starting a family.
As 2008 comes to a close, I decided to make this post as a reminder so to speak.

Look back and reflect on what has brought you to the point you are at now, not the negative things because anyone can spot those situations out. Use your character and thought to spot the good even if it is so small, as children do when they enjoy the smallest of things.
It is a true blessing whether you can see it or not to be able to come together on a game and make friends that can last a lifetime.
All the troubles and arguments that have been held or past quarrels, leave those behind in 2008.
Its a new year, enjoy it and make the most of each day your given, leave your regrets and burdens behind you.

Hope everyone had an enjoyable Christmas, and that Santa was good to you!
May everyone have a blessed 2009, and I hope that you make new friends to come, and perhaps share the blessings you have been given with someone else.
