Really sorry you're having a tough time. I had a hard time my first log in too. I couldn't figure out how to move the camera, so I kept running in to walls that I couldn't see. You can't see your char because you've zoomed in or out too far. Move the mouse wheel. Alt-H shows/hides the user interface, and the log out button is on the bottom right of that. There's a small bar of buttons on the bottom right, click the system one, it will expand another bar, one of those is exit to desktop, one is exit to character selection. "enter" button puts anything you type next into chat. Like in Diablo. =) Good luck, it's worth, really. This game rocks yo.

Definitely do quests for exp as well as money and spirit.

Blue and purple quests will give you a choice of nice gear for your character.

At level 45 and beyond, quests become fewer, so then you will have to grind more and more to gain exp.

    Have fun!

Quests are also important because they provide Reputation, and Spiritual Cultivation quests are the only way to unlock higher rated skills.
